  • The plaintiff says her uncle died, and the defendant - his supposed dear friend - stole all his belongings. She never gave him permission, so she’s suing for the value of the items. The defendant says he helped clean out the condo and only took a few small items with sentimental value.

This is so heartbreaking for this man... It's just useless trinkets to her but to him they hold 40 years of memories with his best friend.... My ex fiance (he's only my ex because of his surgery...it's complicated) is having heart surgery in like a week.....every time I go to his place I always bring something home with me... A blanket he bought purposely for me for his place... Sweaters he wears all the time... His socks... A frames picture of him and his parents... ( He knows I do this and is beyond fine with it so are his grown kids cause there is so much stuff and they already have so many memories of him).... It's just nice to have something to hug when you miss someone who was in your life for so long.... Xo

My gram passed away and left her home to 2 of her 6 children (long story) with conditions that her one son could continue living on property in his own mobile home. Also her partner of twenty years could continue to live in her home until whenever.
Her vehicle was given to my uncle.
My Uncle WAS NOT happy. Vehicle ended up being totaled out a month later from a suspicious incident that happened in her driveway.
My uncle THREW away EVERY SINGLE ITEM in the home less than two months after she passed away. It was done out of spite like if I can't have it neither can any of you. He threw away items my gram had her whole life including baby items from when her children were infants.
Less than 6 months after her passing he sold or gave away the doors and windows from my Grams mobile home. He left it in such condition that my parents had to go to the borough and get a permit to have the mobile home demolished :*(
I forgot to mention my uncle ripped put my grams lilac bushes and cut down all the trees in her yard. No one asked him to do any of this.
To this day I can't look at him. I will never forgive him for throwing away my grams entire life like it was trash all out of spite.
