I have a Fire Alarm that sounds just like that in my room and it's so hard to sleep because I'm always suspecting its gonna go off at any minute. Anxiety shooting through the roof, going deaf by the millisecond, it's just horrible...
So my apartment complex has high frequency horn + strobes in the main hallway and low frequency in the apartment units, both models are from Honeywell. Listening to this video, am I safe to assume that the low frequencies horns are typically the same horns used in hospitals?
i have come across both types in hospitals as a nurse as well as good old fashioned loud bells in hospitals. the first time i heard a low frequency fire alarm about 11 years ago, I actually thought it was a heart monitor alarm going off from a code blue emergency pull station.
Camera bouncing back & forth is so disconcerting it is dizzying. Could not watch the rest of this. Will check out others on this topic with more stable camera work.
1:46 the alarms go off

The point of waking someone up in a deep sleep is called volume so there is no point in the low frequency sounder
