Just picked up my 50 93. I appreciate your video. Have no clue about goal stove only that I one day visited a guy selling eggs and he had all his windows half up in the dead cold winter. Ask him why and said his goal stove kept the house toasty and every now and then had to open up the windows cause it would get hot in the house. Said he only spent about $35 per month burning coal. Needless to say...I had to get one because of the efficiency and the heat.
I've had great luck starting my coal stove on a bed of matchlight charcoal. I have a Coal Chubby installed in front of my fireplace. I wish I had enough clearence to put a Hitzer with a hopper in. Flue is to high. Bummer.
I never measured the draft pull officially, but you could feel it with your hand. I am unfamiliar with water column. (sorry) The damper I used was just in the pipe behind the stove and factory set as far as weight.
@@enlightenedlogger Is the keystoker a better stove than the hitzer? I'm looking for good options. Relying solely on electric and propane is not my comfort zone...

match light charcoal works the best...
I'd love to see a video on the Hitzer 55 and 82
The process is very similar in those models as well
Does the direct vent require electricity
May I ask what your draft pull is. Water column is. And do you use bio damper

That looks like the small one
are you ok with leaving the stove for a 12 hour work shift and nobody check the stove for 14 hours?
Yes, if set up correctly the burn times can exceed that window without a problem.
Looking for a self feed rice coal stove . Any ideas of a brand or model .
Look at a Keystoker. Built in PA.
Very high quality and easy to work on if there is a part failure.

@Christian Weaver I've sold both and they each have their benefits. The Keystoker is more widely known and probably easier to find parts for.
Where can I purchase one of these?
Where are you located?
Which model is this? 30-95 or 50-93?
50-93 ! like and subscribe for more help and great videos !
Does it vent out of the rear
Yes it does.
@@enlightenedlogger is that vented into a chimney or thru wall straight outside?
I got a new one for sale for $2000
