You are absolutely adorable! I am so glad that you popped up on my feed as I am new to the world of plants & can sometimes feel overwhelmed with the amount of info there is to know but your easy going style makes it easy…if you ever teach classes or do seminars..hint hint 🤭 Thank you for taking us on your adventures 🪴💚
🌵🪴I consider your vlogs as my botany class each time I watch because you always teach me something new. I’m learning to up my cactus game with your care tips as you introduce me to the different varieties.🦴👁️👁️
Thank you Lynn! I am honored to hear that! I gotta say that for me the best lessons are learned from experience. Like, what killed my plant the last time I had one of these? 🤔😅🫶🏽
I quickly misread the title as "what's my new favorite nursery" and I clutched my pearls, thinking "better than Rosales?!" Then realized it was my bad 😜
What a fun, fun visit! I always stop at Rosales when I make my annual visit to south OC. Great prices, great selection, great kitty (hi, Princess!). And yes Patrick, I always tell them that you're the reason I found out about Rosales, and you're the reason I keep coming back! 💚
Princess! She’s the sweetest! And Rosales is the best! So glad you get to stop there when you’re in town. Totally worth it! Thank you for letting them know I sent you 😊💚
Thanks Patrick for sharing I just love the ring of fire and the one gifted to you❤ the Hoyas are what I would have taken especially the shooting star and the varigated kerrii.
Today I learned that farina is the white coating found on some succulents, and since it means ‘flour’ in italiano it will be easy to remember. And the inside of the flower of the Edithcolea grandis looks very much like the flowers of my starfish plant, so I suspect they are related, maybe same family…? That is such an interesting pattern-I’m sure it has some kind of benefit in attracting pollinators. The starfish plant flowers kind of stink like carrion, and indeed they attract flies, rather than bees and butterflies. It sounds kind of gross, but I love them and they grow great outside here in the desert. I also kinda respect these plants, I mean who doesn’t love a good nasty pollinator every now and again?
When mine bloomed the scent reminded me of a sharpie! Stinky but different. I’m sure they’re related! The stinkiest blooms can be the most beautiful/interesting! Carrion - Reminds me of the game “he’s a 10”…He’s a ten but he emits the smell of death. What do you do?
I love my Jatropha podagrica. They grow easily from seeds. I have three seedlings going right now from my mama plant. Wondering what I’m going to do with them lol.
@@vicky3792 Wow!!! Im in California, i never got to experience that!!! How exciting, im sure you can look it up, so cool!!! Have a great Sunday!!! Good luck with the babies🤞💚
I received a calathea as a gift and frankly nothing can prepare you for that fate The leaves started develop crispy spots of all things, I upped my misting game and will see how it goes 🙃
I just don't have the environmental conditions you do for all these cool plants! 4 serious seasons here - my succulents always look cruddy😑 But I love seeing them in the best conditions!
I love your videos 💕 I learn so much 🥰. Thank you so much 😊

Good morning Patrick, I’ve been to this wonderful nursery because of your videos, they also have great prices on roses and fruit trees.
Thank you! I’ll have to check out their roses and fruit trees next time I’m there 💚
I loved seeing all these plants! Please don't touch the farina, it will not come back.
❤ your show 🎉
Thank you for watching! I appreciate you, Jared!
Yes I always want to go whenever I see your videos but it’s a bit of a drive from me.. but that day will come and I will visit them very soon! 😊
You’ll have to visit Mezcala nursery too! They’re neighbors just a few steps down the dirt road! Enjoy!!! ☺️💚
Oh that euphorbia you bought, i just love it, thanks for taking us to such unique nurseries. 🪴
The Euphorbia you didn't know at 3:58 is Euphorbia poissonii.
Thank you 🙏🏼

If you lived near me, id buy one from ya! 💚🌱😊🍃🤗 Years ago i had one for like 10 years...
@@cindyvan635 I’m a Texas girl. It’s amazing how fast they’re growing. I’m wondering if and when they will form a caudex.

I like to call it character, and I have many succulents with lots of character too so don’t feel bad 😅
