To answer your question about the structures for the first part of the performance (the Intro), it is not letters. It is just structures that visually convey mysteriousness which was part of the whole concept with them hiding behind or wearing masks (Fake Love)
My advice to you is to research the song or MVs' meaning before watching most of their lives have a little of their MV incorporated into the performance. The majority of their albums link and tell a story. Maybe start at the beginning and react to the timeline. So you won't be confused. Their are a few explanation videos out their and also a timeline video. The rise of Bangtan is a good video series to also watch in order. You will learn a lot watching those there are 20 or 22 of them, I believe I can't remember. BTS live performances are top-notch, and production is A1.
Btw guys, there are also other awards shows where they performed like at the GDA (Golden Disk Awards) and for example when they performed IDOL at MAMA I remember the idols their performance were so impressed, you should check these out too! Thanks for the reaction.
