    Fast forward and you're all smiles man. Congrats on the new awesome build. I've heard about injectors possibly getting stuck running full E85 all the time. Some people will cycle a few gallons of regular gas only then refill with E to avoid that from happening or have your injectors cleaned every 6-12 months will be good. Good luck setting some new PBs on the new build 👍

    Well this is part of the game. I know people are gonna hate again on gt 500’s motors but this failure has nothing to do with the motor but a bad aftermarket injector. Unfortunately it could also happen on a built motor.

      He was using ID1300S those are top of the line injectors.

    I had an ID1300 fail on me as well. I am running FIC's now. I pull my injectors every season to get them cleaned and flow tested when running ethanol.

    Well its nice to see that you and stangmode are honest and tell the truth about your cars both the good and the bad......Unlike Streetspeed717.......His car was at LMR for many months and they had the motor OUT of the car (since when does LMR pull the motor to do head work?......NEVER!!) but neither he or LMR tell the damn truth what really happened and what was done to the car. I posted the question on one of LMR's videos why has SS717's car been at your shop for so long.....They replied "Were storing it" .........Yeah Right!!! SS717 & LMR are nothing but fakes and feed their subscribers a bunch of BS!!!

      I definitely think streetspeed717 is making a lot more power than he says. He ran a 173mph top speed at this most recent event. He gained 10mph and I don't think that's possible with only an additional 80whp but I do like streetspeed717's channel. I hope iconic kicks his but after the built engine and more boost.

      Mike has a built motor now i believe it was built not this most recent time at lmr but the time before. He commented on an instagram comment and said it awhile back in a vid. It didn’t blow but he was uncomfortable making 1000+ on sbe

    There’s always a fine line with mods, especially on a car that came out the factory with full warranty. Is the risks worth the rewards or rewards worth the risks is up to each individual. Personally I’ll never mod a brand new car until the warranty/payments are out the way. Sorry it happened to you and hope you’ll come back stronger with the future mods.

    Watched stangmode go through a catastrophic failure also and get a built motor. Tough break. Comes with the racing world

    Damn dude. I'm sorry to hear this. I had these issues with my 1000hp GT350 last year. I blew it up right at the start of Covid-19 pandemic. It's a game we plan... if you are looking for a built motor I suggest RGR. They know their craft!

    That sucks. There are certain things you can expect to happen under these extreme mods / race conditions , but a failed injector or FP Regulator is not one of them. How long do you think you will be down for?. Looking forward to your next level of mods.

      I agree. Good thing is it wont be that expensive ( comparitvely) to get back together. Depending on parts, could be 6 weeks, could be 6 months. Just waiting on manufacturers

    Damn I’m sorry to hear that. Was it really all a faulty injector? I bought the same injectors IDX 1300cc😅 haven’t put them on yet

      or the fuel pressure regulator diaphram. i know 2 injectors were spraying funky after inspection, but that much fuel has to be somethign else/ additional.

    That’s very odd that a low mileage ID injector would be stuck open. Shit happens, unfortunately it’s going to be expensive.

      I was recently told to check the fuel pressure regulator diaphram, so it could be that. Im just glad the expensive stuff is usable. I planned on building over the winter anyway

    Sorry you have to build your engine but I'm excited to see more boost. Streetspeed717 ran a 173mph for his fastest run so with that built engine and more boost, maybe a Whipple possibly I hope your car can beat Mike's ridiculously fast ZR1. also maybe mid to low 8's would be pretty cool, not sure if you still hold the record or not but either way break the record again. Anyway I'm super excited about your car getting even faster. Keep up the good videos and I'll be sure to watch and give 👍👍.

      Mike's car is now capable of high 170's...didn't even take the wing off or filter out. Crazy what he's gotten out of that stock block for over 2yrs.

      @@BEBNC1 yeah, your right. I forgot all about that. Mike said he thought taking the wing off would be worth about 3mph more and I'm not sure how much the extra 30whp would be worth at those kind of speeds. I would say at least 1mph which would put him at 177mph. Crazy fast!!!

    U should have took the engine out a long time ago when u knew your gonna be making some big power. That way u keep the numbers matching block and u could have put it back to stock if I ever needed too. those factory rods were living on borrowed time.

      what are you talking about? the block is fine. this is the best way to do it. hydralocked isnt because the engine failed

    Damn that really sucks, hope you can fixed it and get it back man, and hope nothing bad will be happen to it, wish your luck won't be bad as StangMode.
    Really Coyote V8 from 5.0 GT is more durable than Predator V8 from GT500. Predator V8 is too fragile.

      the 5.2 is way more stoudt than the 5.0 this failure was due to a aftermarket piece and extremely uncommon

    Your gt500 gonna need a new engine to keep up with Mike’s vette. Funny how your sending it out to get built. Mikes engine isn’t even built. Just heads and cam.
