If i want to write introduction for thesis or paper so from which part of relevant research paper(abstract,introduction,review,conclusion or what) i will.take data
And if i want to write review that from which part of research paper i should take data.
There is no hard and fast rule. Introduction means you are writing about the your topic. So you could take from anywhere from book , journal, research paper if it serve your purpose and you are giving the reference from where you have taken the material
