That skipping wave is very good lessons. Even in low immortal it is rarely happen unless they lose and try to def the high ground
i like picking AM for qop picks, even if it's mid, I go AM, if they are in my lane, I will put my first point into counter spell. the ability is so telegraphed that it makes it so easy to counter her dagger.

this is same on quas wex invoker that rushes vessel and orchid.. literally you can kill anyone solokill and can snowball early because of the cold snap + vessel+orchid.. then you can tornado emp last.

I approve this video... Just tested it as 3, however be advised that you must make sure that DROW or LUNA are banned or hope that they don't pick them. Their RANGE makes it hard to harass them...
Anyway, I destoryed a PA in lane.. What's worse is she asked her Disruptor(5) to leave him.. My support Mirana left on her own since he knew that I will win the match up... I just spammed Shadow Strike, zoned him and whenever my creep is about to die I go on top of it so PA would be confused on casting his dagger.. At some point, because it got boring, I just auto attack the creeps so I could push...

I usually max out scream of pain. Great for farming, I get nearly or all essential gear by mid game by using scream of pain on creeps. Enemies usually don’t come close because they assume you’re attacking them.

(before watching the video)I think its because of the Arcana, people are trying hard themselves right now just to make their QoP work. To make the Arcana worth the purchase. Some people managed to find a new way of playing QoP as many are playing her right now cuz' of the Arcana. Hence, her being banned or instantly picked right now.

How does Shadow Strike plus Urn of Shadows charge, total of 200 damage to the target (before reductions), can kill a target from full HP?
Been doing quite the same thing, but at 3k bracket they are quite passive. Having charm might help in persuading them to play correct Dota but I'm like easily tilted and then give up and watch anime LUL
So, this is basically how I play AA, and its been working fairly well too

Hey dude, I just want to pay my respects. I'm a FPS main, and I wanted to play like other games because you know, things get boring sometimes. I started playing dota with my mates because I wanted to be with them. I sucked... a lot, to the point where I didn't feel like I was worthy, thanks to you, I've literally become so good at dota, that i'm literally carrying them to victory, and I couldn't thank you more.

I have always liked and played QoP, but over time I moved to other mid heroes because, well, I felt QoP underperforming compared to others.
Recently (4 months or so lol, not that recently) I picked her up again and indeed I almost didn't feel the need to level up the R too early, the dagger does most of the work. But still, I didn't actually got why people built urn on her compared to other items. I just tried in a couple of matches offlane QoP with an early rune and boots and... yeah, she is so fucking good even as a pos3 lol.
Even so, I am not sure what's the source of the 52% tbh and I don't feel that she is up to some major nerf in the brief future apart from maybe a change to the CD and/or slow of Shadow Strike (changing the damage would completely kill her off again).
I mean, it's a strong and useful build, but there are several good counter that just mess up her laning stage: ES (mostly as a support), Kunkka, Void Spirit...
Maybe not completely hard counters as AM throwing the dagger back at you, but still quite annoying.

Tbh Ive been doing that using QoP as a flex pick, forcing people to think Im a mid laner countering me just to have me go offlane/support and if you are not countered QoP can just go mid its pretty nice tbh to force opponents into certain picks

Love how you always go back to talking about the concepts. Really great methods of teaching. I know it is hard to put these together, but maybe more examples would be super helpful to get out of the specific details of a clip and see the similarities between your actions in different games. Similar to how in your video about how to counter heros you used a clip from a low level game and high level game. That made it more clear-to me at least-what the concept was and how to apply it. By seeing it in action in different places on the map and with different hero matchups it became much more obvious what was the concept and what was the 'fluff' so to speak.

I've never played QoP in ranked before (only 2~3 games turbo iirc). Decided to first pick QoP pos 5 after watching this. Won the game 10/7/21 and top 2 hero damage on my team. Thank you so much LMAO

It makes really all sense. Although some things he talks about are already performed by us unknowingly using different heroes. That being said, for somebody to tell you that, then realizing afterwards that its really working and you been doing it (sometimes it works, sometimes it dont) all along, makes you grew more and love the game more.
But ofcourse, QOP is really unbalanced to begin with. And lots of players including me is much comfortable QOP as pos3 or 4. But when you think about previous patches, when you play QOP like this, you get a lot of reports and blame instead (because QOP is not usually played like this so you must MAKE THE GAME INTO A WIN even though your carry and other supprts is messing around). But because the patch right now makes farming a lot easier, it gives heroes such as QOP a threatining heroe that plays outside its usual position.
I always saw QoP to be powerful and no doubts she's picked/banned in almost all of pro games.
Good to see she has Jenkin's attention.
I gained gigaton mmr (200 by just spamming first pick qop) just by following this advice; thx Jenkins. I made some change in item build tho (rushing necromicon to scale and push lane and either greaves or vesel next); won 8/10 game.
Other concept; i just copy and paste in my game and incredibly succeeded
Loved your other videos, but here you don't address a few very important things about QoP.
First of all her pickrate skyrocketed because Valve just released arcana-tier item on her. We will see this effect with each and every hero once their arcana/persona comes. Pudges, Windrangers, Anti-Mages pickrate will skyrocket, as did Ogre Magis winrate last year.
Secondly I'm not sure QoP pos 5 is a really good choice. Yeah, she's good at mid, pos 3 and even can be played at pos 4. But as pos 5 she really can't provide anything besides her situationally strong laning and mobility. Her ultimate has a very big cooldown and very level-dependent, as it's mostly a damage dealing ultimate.
Anyway, I'm only of such an opinion because I've met QoP pos5 on my 4k mmr and it was mostly a free lane and a free game where me and my offlaner bullied the hell out of her core and won the game because QoP 5 is absolutely weak in teamfights without her ult.
These are just my 5 am thoughts, nobody even cares lol
Dude, I just found out this solo channel of yours. I thought you left Dota Alchemy because you joined GameLeap, and I kept watching GameLeap's videos because I thought it was your voice-over, so I've been picturing your face whenever I watch GameLeap and this has gone on for months now, maybe a year even. In my defense though, you both do sound similar when you speak, actually mind-boggling.
You literally have ruined dozens of my pubs, everyone if first picking qop support and fucking ruining games. THis has cost me 300 mmr, JFC think before you post. People just paly core qop from pos 4 and take all the farm on the map and feed. And anytime I tell them they are doing i wrong its just "Hurr durr, qop is good in every position"
