Greetings Summoner,
I am KT1, your average MCOC player. I started this TH-cam channel as a hobby to keep to help players advance, providing in depth analysis on new champs, keep players abreast of updates to the game and hopefully bring in fun times along the way.

8:26 I think a problem in the community too is when people rightfully complain about a champion having a massive wall of text, and then the gameplay isn't any easier to understand and you have to actually study how to even do the basic rotations, and then people say it's a skill issue or you just need to get good. People normalizing that garbage doesn't help at all, it's so annoying.
One kabam knows they will always have some whales to milk, but I think they still want to keep the free to play player base happy so they buff older champions
If you look at it that way, then it’s great that Kabam are doing this. But I think the champs just happen to be underwhelming. I don’t think it was planned for recent champs to be mid.
@TairiqueTuray that's true but kabam also lied to us when they dropped arcade, they said he would have more immunities but he didn't and they just swept it under the rug, then they dropped serpent a big beefy defender and not alot of good counter to.
@@Bkaranja55 Serpent is a disease in the game. He absolutely needs a nerf for so many reasons. Them lying about Arcade is bad, I didn’t know about that. But buffing existing champs instead of only making new OP champs for the whales to gain even more of an advantage is good for the game.
@TairiqueTuray but then why did they "rig" the vote for blue cyclopes and Dr. Strange coz I know alot of pple wanted Strange to be a serpent counter and I have a tiny feeling kabam didn't want that, but that's just my opinion 😅😅😅

Yeah, he looks so cool and he seems fun, thats case with so many champs, enchantress is unique and fun but she 0 use in most metas when it comes to competitive modes
If kabam doesn't buff Arcade damage or buff him on D I have no hope for the "BUFF program" lol

And he designed champions like Kate Bishop, Absorbing man, Kushala, Photon, The serpent and etc.
and he also designed patriot.

The problem is that new champions are made to be either though defenders or super specific counters to new defenders which usually makes them extremly mid in other fights. For example class requirement on the utility on negasonic and patriot makes them useless outside the very specific matches they were made for.
I only partly would agree on this topic. There have been some really good champions in the mix like Leader, Beta, and Prowler. I've used Prowler, Beta, Leader and Silver Sable. Prowler and Beta are great and not difficult to learn except timing their heavies, which is not required to play either of them. Prowler might be my favorite champion released lately. Leader is more complex for sure but gets consistent results akin to Void, where he has slow ramp up but can take a lot of fights plus has some good defensive options. Silver Sable compared to the others is very simple; just keep the opponent on top of the mines and good things happen (usually by sticking them in the corner). Sable is badly in need of a buff however, whether that is easier access to her utility or bigger damage numbers (or both and possibly a way to refresh her shocks). Shathra is also looking extremely promising and would really love to pull them from a crystal even though the chances are I will not actually get to play them for a long time. I don't think it's quite fair to say the designers are full on themselves either, it's more like this game is going on 10 years and they are still trying to break new ground. Having said that would agree new champions tend to have too many moving parts and often none of them are very satisfying to use. The other big issue is that many of the best champions are defenders that get set on AW defense and forgotten instead of playing with them. I also have to agree that I don't understand their goals with Enchantress, she is super annoying as a defender requiring a constant mini game and yet takes the most memorization to use her spells as an attacker.
They are so terrified to create another Hercules man, he makes them shudder in fear knowing players saved so many units by using him. It's all to avoid Hercules 2 😂😂
all it takes is just to not put inmortality in the kits and you wont have an herc 2.0

Kabam will push Serpent, bullseye or Enchantress to be in the next SOP event with some tune downs maybe to make ppl learn to play against them and call it a day with no nerfing + you will get to have personal experience fighting those and say oh its not too hard - until you face them with sick nodes in BGs/AW/Quests.
Enchantress is a perfect 5/5 defender
Bullseye and serpent are BOTH overtuned and don't even dare tell me bullseye is okay because serpent is obviously unfair
There’s actual counters to bullseye, CGR, bleed immune, (yes it’s unpractical but it gets the job done) or the obvious negasonic. Power gain nodes help bullseye a lot, however serpent is simply ridiculous, Kabam said that Chavez and Supreme were used as counters so that’s good enough, like what? That’s two champions out of a. near 400 pool 💀

That's why my favorite champion in this game will always be Shocker. Such an EASY yet POWERFUL champion. Do your sp1s, get your charges, drop sp2, hold heavy and that's your damage. What more do we need? Simple champions are making the game fun! Yet we still getting champs like Enchantress where u need to learn a freakin poem of abilities and swipes in order to squeeze a mediocre damage from her. Who wanted that? Who thinks that it's fun? Not me
@@TheFisher316-d8n I agree with you. I do have a rank 3 Enchantress and she can get some massive damage in long fights but she’s very impractical

In a world where these complex champs are being released, I've just R3'd Venompool. Uncomplicated playstyle, fun champion, you don't have to do anything complicated, just play him and good things happen. I rate that aspect very highly.
As a progressing player, the question I always have to ask is: how is this character going to help me progress? Will they help me get through quests faster and more efficiently than characters I have already ranked up? Is this character more useful than Hercules, or Rintrah, or CGR, or Hulk, or Titania, or Kate Bishop, or Kushala, or...?
If the answer is no then why would I chase that character? Why would I invest precious recources into that character? I still have so many banging 6* champions that I would love to rank up, but don't yet have the resources. Currently, at 6* R1, I have Red Skull, America Chavez, Werewolf by Night, Lady Deathstrike, Hyperion, Black Cat, Guardian, Human Torch, Ultron, Hulkbuster, and CMM that I would love to be able take to R4 but just don't have the resources.
Why would I care about Silver Sable, Enchantress, Negasonic, or The Leader compared to the above?
Kabam just haven't made the case for why we should care and what content they would get us through. They seem to only care about making insane BG defenders and then making champs that counter those defenders. Maybe essential if you love BG's but they ain't gonna help me get though act 6 or act 7.
I don't mind having more niche champions in the game and less generalists when we're coming up on nearly 300 champs, especially because the new champs take ages to get unless you're spending or they line up with the new featured crystal drop
I agree that Enchantress is completely ridiculous. You can tell by looking at DLL's champion spotlight with context video. Count Nefaria is 38 minutes, Enchantress is over an hour. Insanity! Fighting her feels a bit like going against a 'lite' version of the Grandmaster.
Champions that require interception as part of their gameplay are nearby impossible to keep a good consistency of because the AI doesn’t have it.
Also titan pool has so much trash in it. Fkin nova i got him twice. The chick with long gun. She is shiete. Blade? He got hard nerfed. Megasonic? Would be nice if her damage was as good as kate with frostbite arrow alone. But she garbage. Why are they in titan pools?? Fkin garbage. The very reason for titan pool is to make sure players get champs who dont go below a certain quality. They fked that up big time. I want my 40,000 shards back.
Thought about these reasons since Hercules blew up. They are either very simple to play, but values are lacking; or they are overly complicated, and not fun to play

Plus one other factor with the recent complex champs is that even with the complicated rotation...the damage is just very mediocre...plus very punishing if u can't keep up with the flow... perfect example is punk, leader
Leader is the only one I don't agree with, but the rest yeah, so much to master! To complicate matters, a lot of the newer champs are designed to be tough defenders. Whether you want to use these champs yourself, you have to learn how to fight them. Enchantress must be the pinnacle.
This is the first time I’ve held a Titan. I hate how valuable they are and it’s not worth opening it right now. I’ll wait until another 2 cycles just get the duds out of the way. Serpent is the only champ I want rn.
Ive genuinely learned enchantress's spells took me a few tries on lol star lord, thats it. i quite like her.. not a bgs champ, but ridiculously good and safe in long content..
I absolutely love enchantress and she is the one exception for me. I learned most of her spells and I really want to use her. But she sucks offensively and other than for pure enjoyment I would not use her. She is overly reliant on synergy and sig ability and damage is just not there to balance the slowness of spamming sp1 and casting those spells.
Yep pretty much. I was trialing sable in aq and she didn't feel strong at all so I didn't even bother to learn her.

Since coming off my 2 year break 9 months ago.. I never actively seek to learn/read the Bible kabam puts in lol I JUST WAIT UNTIL content creators put guides out on specific content. They always say how to use the champ I know little about lol THABK YOU KT

Kabam is trying to be too controlling with how you use champions. The new champions all have specific rotations that have tight windows to get maximum value. It started with Dani Moonstar. Kabam wants to force players to use champions a specific way and it is taking the fun out of it. Before there was the intended rotation and there were what players discovered and shared. Think the deep dive on Black Cat and then look at how people actually use her. I feel for Kabam in that the game is 10 years old and they want to do new things and keep the game fresh. But making the game insanely complicated isn’t going to bring in new players or make existing players stay.
I pulled 3 silver sables in a row from 3 Titans. I haven’t even bothered to rewatch her deep dive.
Meanwhile I’m trying to use champs like prowler only to mess up his rotation most of the time because of it’s higher than average complexity.
I do think BRB is pretty decent. He’s easy to use and has good damage. His main flaw is that he is so reliant on the cowardice and infuriate passives that despite having high potency sometimes just don’t work making him risky and unreliable.
By comparison, Shocker is a perfect champ. He has very high damage, lots of utility, is a good defender (but not too annoying), and he is so extremely simple. But he can’t be used for everything (as no champ should)
Releasing two champs a month is too much , kabam should consider releasing just one good champion
I got a 6* northstar a few weeks ago and having been messing around with him. He's pretty shit to be honest. He's a bootleg quicksilver who I'm not particularly a fan of either. The only new champs i like are the count, serpent,and Chee'lth. Negasonic, dust and iron heart are pretty good. Bill is extremely overrated in my eyes. Destroyer is fun. Bullseye is a great defender. The deathless champs are all decent. I think that's it

Arcade got all thos abilities/ imunities, but it took lagacy 1:40 seconds to take down winter soldier with a R3 😂😂😂😂
20 abilty defenders and 2 ability attackers. Wolfman. Rupture and nullify 2 buffs out of 30. White tiger power steal and nullify 2 buffs 🤣🤣🤣.

Red Skull and Arcade have the same damage output. Arcade is just as good if not better nowadays on defense. Red Skull is cosmic fodder
I like Arcade he is fun. Side note he can do the Thor Rags on thundstruck path in 9.1 because one of his pre fights makes it so the opponent can’t reduce the duration of his debuffs lol
Fortunately Thor Rags isnt a problem anymore, they change it for Black Cat, I noticed it when I was doing my act 9 exploration yesterday
