Hey I love the mad ones! I’ve been wanting to do an animatic for it since I first listened to it about this time last year, it’s a masterpiece. It means a lot to me, and it’s helped me work through a lot in my life. Plus Samantha Brown (dark haired sad girl) is played by Krystina Aalabado, aka Gretchen from Mean girls the musical before it closed! I love her. Kelly Manning (light haired sassy dead girl) is played by Emma Hunton who is also amazing!
This is the second song on the cast recording, and if you’re familiar with the show, it’s right before/leads into Freedom. If you’re unfamiliar with the show, it starts the night before Sam is leaving for college. She’s sitting in her dead best friend’s car and talking to herself.

Would be cool if they made a movie out of this musical, instead of narrating from Kelley's car she's talking to a therapist, mainly so it makes better sense narratively but also I think more characters should go to therapy, because it's the ultimate bottle episode scene, which allows for character growth and analysis as well as providing closure not only for the audience but the character itself
Or maybe I'm just biased because I also see a psychologist for my anxiety

It was turned into another musical that was on Broadway, I know the name Samantha is in it. The plot is very similar but the songs are different.
