So... you have to go through the game once collecting and feeding EVERY elf, assuming you even find them all on your first run to begin with (you won’t), but NEVER use them (essentially getting mopped up by the last boss just because lolz), play through it again actually USING all of them, providing health and sub tanks sorely missed during the first run (wtf), so that you’re allowed to break the game in half for the third play through. Am I following this correctly?
So after playing it thru twice, you get the ability to have all the Cyber elf abilities, obtain all the Cyber elves fully grown, and you get a shit ton of crystals that you won't even use to raise said elves...I hate playing the first Megaman Zero already and this affirms my hatred for it.
8:03 the feeling when you cheat in a test and forgetting you did Edit: besides why would you cheat a test in the first place, you know it would be obvious
Thank you for the details. I started a new game + and I expected to see Jackson in the Animal tab(between bongas). Also, I'm glad that I don't need to grind weapons in that mode!
An A rank isn't that difficult to obtain. You just have to make sure you to speedrun the stage while still killing a ton of enemies. Completely simple, really. Hard mode is its own thing, though admittedly I've never really tried to do a run of it. I've seen starting a new game referred to as easy mode before, but I don't think that term really fits.
Real talk Triple Rod charged is mad good. Pop the weakness on it and just spam the charged input. Watch as your enemy has no grace-period and gets, literally, a stick up the arse. but yeah UM in Z1 ain't that... great.
Wait, so using permanent effect elves gets you F ranks no matter what? Good thing I found that out before using them I suppose. I still used one small elf though
the upgrade system should have been like X1 or something you just pick it up and can turn it on or off no penalty maybe you still have to feed them at first but that's it just for the sake of some fun grinding something to look forward to the way it's set up it's basically like og no upgrades Mega Man but even harder just cuz we want Jackson and junk
I like the game punishing you for having you do something that is morally wrong in-game to benefit yourself. The problem is the excessive grinding. Z2 onwards fixed that.
So in Hard Mode, you can't use Elves. So if I beat Hard and upgrade All Elves with A Rank, and then beat it to obtain Jackson, is there a way to still unlock Ultimate Mode from that File?
I just got the Switch collection, only played a little in the past. If I want to eventually get all the elves, could I keep finishing NG+ over and over? Or does the save only carry over on the initial unlock of NG+?
How i can get the ultimate mode?? Help me please i used all ciber elfs but nothing happens, when i finish the game dont show's me the ultimate mode :'c I beat the game 5 times in normal difficult whit all ciber elfs on maximum level and don't works :'c im tired to trying :'c P.D: if somebody answer me in spanish that's very useful, thanks!
Okay so for the A and S rank this game is near impossible. but for E and F rank you make the game really easy. Well it's nice of them to make it possible to unlock Hard mode. Excuse me... Newgame+
If there's any "good" grinding spot, it's probably that flat stretch near the Aztec Falcon boss area, if only because there's a few easy to kill enemies and it's hard to die there. I think I got a bunch of crystals just from grinding to show off weapon levels. Otherwise, the best option is just using new game+ and visiting the factory.
@@TwilightWolf032 A good place to get Crystal's is to visit the Factory after you obtain it. Also the Energy Room in the Resistance Base has a new E - Crystal Container every time you complete a mission.
The only thing that i hate about this game is that it punish for using upgrades with severe way, really why do you give me power ups that i cant use if i want a good rank?
Nice vid, dude. I was wondering If you can put this save file for download, for It's a little hard to me to get an S rank, and I've not really time to do that. I'm not the real skilled kind of guy in this game. :/ I've been looking for it a lot in internet, but I just can't find it to download, neither the rom that I need, and the best emulator. If you could just light me up, I would thanks you. :p

@@rawand6344 not in the slightest. I searched for this info and noticed the motions as he described them poorly

just bought the ps4 collection. thank you for this video, i didnt know how to use the elves. this really helped me to understand the system

Yeah, Z1 sucks. Ultimate Mode is fun, tho

Jackson actually has the charge up for Sting Chameleon's weapon
Which is a Jackson's Chameleon.

Awesome! This video answered so many questions about this game.
what happens if you feed jackson? is he just the same as he is unfed?

Yes, you can start New Game+ as many times as you want. And unless my memory's spotty, every Zero lets you do unlimited New Game+ as well.

Use all of your fully powered cyber-elves in normal mode.
You can buy the collection on consoles and it's unlocked from the start.

Wait, how did you grind for crystals? Did you find a good farming spot or are you just as patient as Buddha?
