There's actually a rumor from Chinese fans that wjj responded to their message regarding this issue. Wjj said that into1 members can actually ask the company for the decorations bcs I think they want to let the group decorate or style their dorm by their own

I feel so sorry for Nine...his room is so old fashioned, it looks creepy..he doesn't like living alone. Linmo sugested exchanging their rooms, but i belive Nine didn't want Linmo to have the worst room, separated from the others. I really thought their dorm would look much better. There are some rumors that the next into1 vlog will be the boys renovating their rooms (so they did this for dramatic effect)

I feel really sad for Nine. They are various reasons why he looks like that.
1. Even he redecorate his bedroom, it is kind of small and he can’t do much. And that window is creepy, by the way.
2. In Thai culture, it is strongly believed that putting the bed under the house beam is not good. It will bring bad luck. (I researched and think China has similar belief which confused me even more. Why is there a bed under a house beam located in a basement?)
3. If it's in the basement, Thai people mostly don’t build a house with a basement. It is very rare in Thailand and if you find it in someone house, it is mainly for store stuffs not for a bedroom. So, he is not used to it.
4. He is used to be around people. We can see that from his live when he lived in Thailand. Living alone in basement is not his thing.
5. That boy, he is scared of ghosts. HE IS SCARED OF GHOSTS.
I feel really bad for him.
Nine's room is look dull and dark. It's so small and the old window cant use it.

Really happy to see them but really sad to see their bedroom. I think the house really old compared with R1SE Dorm. Please take care of them. They work so hard so they should live in good places with good environment. Please! The house should be the place that they can rest.

I wanna cry when I saw Nine's bedroom. I'm not OK, we know reason why Nine wants to change room. In Thailand, we have an ancient belief that sleeping under the beams of the house is not good, it will bring bad luck, nightmare, ghost coming and getting sick easily.
Nine's bedroom in most of Thai house is considered as storeroom because of above reason. I feel sad and hope that program will find solution not only for Nine and also Mika and Linmo all members as well.
Thanks for the info! No wonder Nine was so upset, he likes being surrounded by friends and is scared of ghosts, this bedroom is so unsuitable for him. I don't think they'll get to stay at the dorms a lot anyway bc they have a lot of schedules but hopefully Nine can get used to it or sleep in others' beds. It will be so much better if he can permanently get another room bc even without knowing thai culture, living in the basement is so unauspicious and doesn't bring good luck.

Tbh the room itself is not that bad. It is quite spacious and most of them get their own room. It’s just that the furniture and decorations that they prepare is so outdated and random that cause it to look ugly. With proper modern furniture and better decorations it would look 10x better. Hope they can atleast change the furniture according to their style.
Half of the rooms are pretty small. And some don't even have their own bathroom.
The house is horrible, no matter how much they redecorate his room to make it look "pretty" the room will still be small and cramped, It is also unfair when comparing the houses of the previous groups, INTO1 obtained the worst house.

I just hope they have a nice or should I say a dorm that is like HOME. Imagine foreign members living at the place which is unfamiliar to them is quite a challenge. Also, being in a boy group is hard too. They're exhausted from practice and other works, so it is nice if they have a private place (their dorm) where they can rest peacefully and comfortably.

As much as I'm laughing at their reactions, at the end of the day this is supposed to be their long-term home. It's okay if the rooms are small if the company wants to cut costs, but the issue is how old they are. I would legit be scared to sleep in some of those rooms with how they're decorated and how little light there is. And Nine's being at the basement alone must be scary for the poor kid. I hope they either get a new place or a major renovation
They all deserve a better room. Like jiayuan got a really nice room so I hope everyone of them gets a good room. Or at least they can have roommate 2 in one room a really good room.
Compared with the other debut groups of chuang, INTO1'S rooms may look ugly as of the moment. But they have a good reason for that. You could see that the living room is actually a little bit fancy but the rooms are not and it is because the company wanted the boys to decorate their own rooms. INTO1 is an international group with of course, diverse culture. The boys got used to different traditions at their homes and the company just wanted the boys to decorate their rooms according to their own culture and personal needs. The company is not really that stingy. They will actually provide whatever it is that the boys need for decorating their rooms. Let's just wait for the final design of their rooms😊
Plus Liu Yu said at the last part, "Let's see who's prettiest in a week" talking about their rooms.

Even if they redecorate the rooms the house is still creepy with all of those windows especially in Nine’s room. Nine’s room looks like its for storage with that kind of window. The interior of the house is so old fashioned. I wonder what did they consider to choose this house. Is it in an exclusive village with security so that fans can’t be there stalking them?
Hope you guys will give them a beautiful bedroom because they all have worked so hard. So there room should be decorate based on their happiness. I hope wajijiwa entertainment will understand.

I felt so sorry and upset for Mika and Nine, their whole room look so uncomfy. But i felt a bit happy when Linmo asked both mika and nine if they want to exchange rooms with him. So courteous and kind of him.
I hope on the next episode i won’t have to see these hideous room decor with that hideous color bedsheet.
Even though most of the member’s rooms are spacious but they have those old-style style decor which really doesn’t match these youngsters.
I hope the company will keep their words of letting the members decorate their room their styles.
