- Hey guys! I’m back with a makeup video in AGES! I personally don’t put much makeup on a daily basis but I really enjoy putting makeup. I wanted to try out different kinds of content so here I am! Hehe. Please have in mind that this video is made based on my personal experience and your responses. I do not intend to make any generalisations of the Filipina daily makeup. This is such a cliche but please remember that everyone is beautiful in their own way! :D

You're right on point with this one. ❤ Filipinas really like fast, affordable and sweatproof way of doing makeup. It's because of the weather and the lifestyle. We normally don't have a powder room for us to put all our makeup on and we carry small bags to put makeup so they have to be as minimal as possible

Hi Jess, I'm a Filipina with monolid. Back in my younger years, I was the only monolid in my class and my classmates are always amazed about my eyes. I don't understand the hype about it before but now I do, it's unique to some. Your monolid is beautiful. ♥️
Baby powder also prevents “ bungang araw” at the back
They made it mandatory because of the heat, plus kids are so playful they like to play on the playground or even inside classroom. I watched a lot of your get ready vid and i must say you have a fair skin, even without that much make up, you're beautiful probably even bare face. I also get those questions about the eyes, they kept telling our teacher that i was sleeping on class 🤣🤣. I really love the outcome, just wow 💖💖💖

@@carabarbarabutera8824 it depends on the person actually. Some feel refreshed when they use pulbos on a very hot weather and some just feel sticky because of their raining sweats.
My highschool seatmate never fail to bring "PULBO" to school, but always ask me for an extra pen and paper!! 😂😂😂
When it comes to using baby powder, there’s a very fine line between “mukhang fresh” and “mukhang sinubsob sa harena”. And I never mastered that. (Tip: Johnson’s has a compact version of face powder that works just as well but you can easily control how much you put on.)
Filipina here and i have the same preference with regards to lip/cheek tint shades as you! 😁 Definitely will get that romand liptint you used. I love the shade!

Yasss, the key point of the makeup style, baby powder! LOL! Baby powder absorbs your sweat! I used to do that too! Especially now, some baby powder has corn starch. Haha! The simple, natural tone suits you. Mask-proof makeup.

I just saw her video on my feed and i love her content. And i find she looks so much like Kim Go Eun, the monolid eyes and lips. Both have their unique beauty but its the first thing i thought about when i started to watch her videos, that they look so much alike. I think they are very beautiful!

filipino makeup is like a combination of the western and korean style makeup. they'd make their eyebrows on fleek and put soft contours especially on the nose part and tints to make it a natural or simple look =D

Honestly I only put on brows and lips when I go out. Even for work. 😂 foundation/concealer is only for special occasions 😂 but for gen z kiddos, I notice they use more makeup than us millenials. 😊

I get itchy when I put that powder on my face..
I don't use pulbo. The powder makes my skin dry. I would use natural moisturizer and lip balm.
not using pulbo is understandable. But not wearing lip tints or any lip product? bruhh..you'd prolly look like you're gonna pass out at any minute.
