    Great video, love view from above looking down on your pond. You certainly have some very large koi in there. It’s a great set up, and they all appear to be doing so well too. Good stuff! 👍 Thanks for sharing this video with us.

      Thanks mate, how's your monster filtration coming along 😊

    • @pondguru
      @pondguru 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shunter66 The filter seems to be working well to remove the suspended solids but since we took loads of trees out the water went green as grass, lol
      The filter is built on the wrong side of the pond as it is a right fart on using the drains to clean them so I will be moving the whole thing over to the other side of the pond and fitting pipes from the bottom drains on the filter(s) to feed a new raised bed vegetable garden which I will have built in time for next season.
      The filter will be powered by a monster solar plant with battery back-up so I will probably make videos on the progression if I get time. Work is mad so no time for videos lately.
      Hope the 'virus' nonsense hasn't peed you off too much - hopefully it will end soon as people are getting more than sick of the fear mongering now.

    What are the chances, I'm in Magna!...Would that pressure filter be ok running on its own for a smaller pond?

    • @shunter66
      @shunter66  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's about 20ft long x 12 ft side at widest point and 5ft at deepest point, gallon size not worked that out 👍

    Stunning pond mate! Just wondered how you’re getting on with that pressure filter a couple of years down the line? How has it held up?
    I’m thinking of getting one myself (50,000) as I like the idea of the mechanical and biological filtration that filter offers. My pond is much smaller though 900 gallons (2.4 meter circle design). Do you think I’d be ok with just that alone? Would like to add a bakki shower down the line if possible and if needed.
    Thanks for your time and just subscribed 👍🏼

      the pressurised filter i cant complain, i would definately get the auto cleaning one its so much easier i just flush mine through once a week and takes around 30 seconds to do thats all, mine is linked to my bakki shower so you can always add a shower afterwards instead of returning water to your pond you just divert it to shower instead.

    Where did you buy the presure filter please

    • @shunter66
      @shunter66  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Think that was direct from allpond solutions, I went for the auto model, and glad I did far easier to flush through once a week 👍

    Hi Phil would you be able to make a short video about your bakkie shower and the media inside it I remember when you made a previous video about the bhacaidh shower and media. All though I am aware of where it's from and what it is I'm wondering what it looks like all this time later, But for anybody else watching who is not aware maybe you could talk them through it at the same time.
    Also I did notice inside your easy pod the water catches up with itself which tells me your pump is running slightly too fast for the easypod and so its not running efficiently.
    Thanks taking the time to make and share this video buddy.

      Hi, there is no change inside the bakki shower its been working great just a matter of cleaning or replacing foams i put on top of top tray of media. 👍
