I've sent dozens of copystrikes against channels uploading my videos without re-editing or adding commentary. I agree that it would be great to have an intermediary step that's more assertive than contacting uploaders individually but not as aggressive as immediately deleting the video. Some people don't understand copyright and would be nice to give them an official warning without having to jump right to a copystrike.

These "youtubers" really need to step down the platform. They serve no purpose in our lives. They're greedy, petty, rude and immature. Assume they do the same thing in real life when you meet them. These are the type of people you probably see/meet and suddenly have a hunch of bad vibes/negativity surrounding them. They arent true to themselves. Clouds actually, Pewds has given some pretty good life advice about certain topics in some of his videos.
They should add some reverse of copyright striking, like, if you copyright strike someone and you failed, you will basically get an offense and more of those will get your TH-cam channel deleted.

The site is required by the Safe Haven rules of the DMCA to automatically comply with takedowns so this could encourage abuse and endanger the community. If the channels get terminated it would at least be limited to "sniper/burner channels" but no. I guess they're okay with the risk of driving content creators off the platform. _They'll always have Will Smith on speed dial._

The last I heard, no one ever put a strike through in court. You can't fail a strike on TH-cam, because it :has: to go to court at a certain point. You can either pursue it to court or let it go. So, over time, the TH-camr always has the upper hand unless the petitioner has a lawyer on retainer and a lot of time on their hands. In the MEANTIME, though, any Dmca compliant website will take the content down until the issue is resolved in court or no longer pursued by the 'striker'. They give like a month or two month deadline
