BEYOND HELPFUL! I had a camera for years I couldn't get to work. This vid was amazing! Thank you! 😊
Thank you! You didn't miss a beat! I'm all set up now! Thanks again!
Thank you! Couldn’t have done this without you!
Thank you so much for this. The instructions that came with my cameras were terrible. The only thing you didn't mention was if I have to go thru this procedure with each camera ( I got the set of 3). But, going to scan my 2nd camera to see if that's what I need to do. It's so much easier when watching exactly what needs to be done. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!
I did finally hear from a tech who walked me through the entire procedure. It's been a while but if I remember correctly you have to delete the camera or door bell THEN enter the code on the back manually onto your new network. I'd delete the old network. Look on it's own tab and delete. I'd do this BEFORE trying to attach to the wanted, new network. This prevents any product from automatically trying to reattach to the wrong net work. Give it a shot and let me know if I remembered correctly.
super helpful. Thank you for the step-by-step.
Thank you. We just bought one and it's very helpful
So much more clear and useful than the company website. Thank you!
Nice video, to the point, very grateful.
Super helpful!! Thank you!!
100% Thank you. Your review helped a lot.
Thanks for a nice, to the point video. Helped greatly.
Super easy instruction, thank you, 多謝, 謝謝.
Thank you, sir. 😎👊🏼
Thanks for the help
Thank you so much for this informative video. Super easy to follow along. Appreciate the help
Thank you sir
Thank you for this.
Great job.. this will help what camera to buy.
Thank you so much this was beyond helpful. Quick question does the sync module 2 have to be plugged in at all times?
This is my same question.
The box includes the screw key to open the battery case
Thank you!
awesome video, you should work for Blink, your instruction were so much better than the Blink instructions or Blink videos. Thank you!
v v helpful
Thank you very informative. I'm just setting up.. Is there a setting to keep camera off except for checking to save battery power? This is to watch our bluebird nestbox. We wanted to mount it inside but we were too late as birds had already started nesting.
What do I need to do to set up the second camera that came in the box I bought?
Can more than one phone connect to to the ccamera?
Does anyone else not have the camera button on the bottom right hand side? I have a cloud bottom and a microphone button there instead?
So if you have the 5 cameras you have to do this individually for each one?
❤❤❤
Do they work with any type of WiFi Like 2.4 or 5g ?
Does the module have to be plugged in 24/7???
Do we take the white sticker off the inside cover? It looks like it's blocking the sound holes, but then again it might be to weatherproof it? It's the white sticker on the inside back cover.
What's the range of these cameras and can I use Hotspot instead of wifi
What are retrigger times... 10 seconds? 60 seconds?
I’m using an iPhone with the app. I also loaded the app on the two iPads I use - using the latest software. When you are on the Home Screen and looking at what the camera is seeing there is a camera icon in the lower right. When you tap that camera icon it appears to take a picture. Where does the picture go? It’s not in “clips” or in my Photos anywhere. I only have one camera.
If you want to save what you’re camera picks up without paying for cloud service. You need to put a memory card in your module.
@@ann237 Since I have more than one camera now I figured it out. All the camera button does is update the thumbnail pic representing that particular camera. It was never intended to go to “clips” or to photos.
Great video but my sync module doesn’t ask to set up camera, creates a new network and keeps telling me in won’t sync. It goes back tomorrow.
Excelente adelante y e xitos
any idea why i dont have the record and take picture option ? Also the camera times out after 10 to 15 seconds and asks me if i want to continue ?
Any tips on what to do if the QR code doesn’t give anything?
Do you have to buy the Sinc module separately?
Depends on the item.
It comes with the cameras.
Do you have to add each camera separately?
Yes
I never did see how to attach the camera to the mount.
You snap the small piece of plastic into the camera round whole ,over the big metal screw (the one that could be opened with the coin). Then you carefully snap the small circle of the ball mount support into the whole of the small plastic piece. I found an older youtube video showing this.
I'm boxing this thing up and returning it. Two hours trying to connect it. I told my husband to stay with devices that are RIng brand. He didn't listen.
Yep same here. Module won’t sync to my wifi and created new network. Junk
how do I get my app to show the videos like yours does. All mine does is show a screen with a arrow and you click the arrow to show the camera. I don't like that it does that. Can I change mine to be like yours?
You go to the clips section at the bottom.
thank you@@lm4585
Is the device rechargeable
Do you have to pay a monthly fee for this service?
i think yearly
Is sync module weather resistant?
No, that needs to be indoors
Ok so outdoor hooked and works fine but I cant add my door bill to the syn or do i need another sync
I forgot my password and had a phone number change, how do I get link to send info via email?
Do I have to have a subscription for the blink4 outdoor camera's
No
So the sync module comes with the camera?
Yes if you buy it that way
this smart guy bleeps out the important part like someone on the internet is going to war drive down on his SSID's lol I was watching this video to see just that and he bleeped it out hilarious but ty besides that like setup dummy networks for your video if your so worried I'm trying to determine if this 'device' does WPA3 enterprise 802.1x
How do you mount them. There are no directions
Thanks you the video very clear explanation 👍
Do i need a separate sync module for each camera?
I can’t connect the module to the WiFi I try everything. What can I do
I also had a very, very frustrating time. One youtube video producer mentioned a 2.4 modem NOT a 5.0. Blink requires 2.4 as it is broader in reach rather than faster. I have COX cable and a 5.0 modem, when I call their tech department I was told I did not have to return the 5.0 but just go to the top right hand of my computer screen, pull down the tab where the network names are listed for the neighborhood and choose the 2.4 speed net work I had with an earlier modem. I already had a network named for the 5.0 and had to go back and choose a new name for the 2.4. So far I've not been able to delete the first created network name for the door bell so the bell does not yet work. The Blink system won't let me delete the assignment for the door bell and reassign it to the new system. Still waiting for a blink tech to answer email - it's been 6 weeks so I have my doubt I will ever hear from them. I will bug them again once holiday crazy ends. Let me know how you do with my non tech explanation. (I"ll stop offering help if it doesn't work for others...)
same crap here. It goes back.
It keeps telling me my Wifi password is wrong and it is not wrong, I’ve have the same password for years. I’m returning it tomorrow, Blink is garage and this Wi-Fi issue is a very common one. Not interested in a headache.
Still too slow for a monitoring camera
Interesting that you didn't mention must be on 2.4 wifi. Here's the deal, its simple, with ALL these devices (Not just Blink) that require 2.4 wifi. Go to Phone settings and pick 2.4 wifi. Then start your install/DL App etc. Follow the rest of this video. After you've set everything and working. You can go back to your phone and switch back to 5.2 Wifi. It won't have an impact. I have this issue with everything from Portable A/C's, Camera's, Smart appliances etc etc. It's all the same BS 😛
2.4 ghz can be jammed with lots of devices. This kinda sucks.
batteer life stucks
I'm getting "device not supported" error when trying to add the cameras. Have deleted the sync module and added it again, tried reset the cameras and different android phones but no luck.
My wifi not showing on my screen.
It seems like the manufacturer might rely on people like this to actually train for their products.. The directions included suck!
Gray zones are the areas you don't want detection...you messed up on that
I feel like a lot of tech TH-camrs make this extra effort to pronounce "the" clearly as "thee", even though in real life they probably just say it more like "theh" or "thuh". I get that people want to be clear and professional sounding, but it creates this weird and unnatural pause in the speaking cadence. You don't need to do it.
Jesus Christ….FFS.
Really? You took thee time to type that?
@@Dragon_Verde11and then you typed this. I can’t 😂💀
@danielhova7826 Clearly, you can. You can do anything you put your mind to if you'd just believe in yourself. You can do it. Keep trying. I have the utmost faith in your ability.
My goodness, hidden password and wifi, hidden qr code, what do you think we'll steal your pass and qr?? 😂😂
no but it’s just stupid to voluntarily give those out, and weird for anyone to even question why it’s hidden
Exactly @ray. What an odd comment. Unless it’s a bad joke I didn’t get.
Um smart!! Believe it or not hackers... I mean people hack into accounts to steal info or watch footage.. just watch the video🤨
I work IT security, I would definitely recommend not sharing any data at all even if the password is changed and the QR code has already been used. Hackers are good, they study people and find easy info like this and now a hacker is in your camera system.
Useless
