In 1995, aged barely 14, I got seperated from my parents in Chester city center, while on a day trip to visit relatives. My parents, being my parents, and because we were far from home in a city I didn't know, threw a major wobbler. Searched high and low. Police were called and there was general comotion and great concern for my well being. A couple of hours later I reappreared, waiting patiently by my dad's car. I'd been in HMV, glued to a listening station, listening to this album twice from start to finish.
I wish I had never lost my copy of this album. Saw them at the melbourne big day out in '96. Wanted to stand in front of Justine, but wound up in front of the lovely Donna because of a dense crowd of mostly fourteen year old fans. A great show!!
Thank you Justine for inserting a good amount of swagger and confidence into an insecure young man and letting him have a go at the club dancefloors of the 90`s.. Lovely memories!

Same. Had it back then, in hindsight I, eventually, realized either roommates or their sketchy friends had stolen a few of my CDs. I wonder what other forgotten gems I owned were stolen from me when I was young and high
Elastica were a pretty great band. Felt we didnt get enough of them. Black Grape and Elastica were two of the best bands from that BritPop era. They hardly released much on record, sadly.
This was the soundtrack of the 15 year old me, fabulous album, marvellous band and I was just in love with it all; just listen to Annie on bass, so perfect 🥰 💞 🎶 ❤
i remember listening to this record with Jessica Horton. I really miss the 90's alot... lot's of great memories. I'd pay a million to relive those years.
Jeebus Crisp, give it a bloody rest, already. I've heard and read the same tiresome complaint for the past quarter-century. If it hadn't been for Elastica, I wouldn't have then gotten so into Wire - back in my Uni days, now so long ago.

Not a single mediocre song on this whole album. One of the most undersung bands of the time. LOVE these guys. Thanks EJustineF!
It plagiarized a bunch of Wire's songs...that's why it's good. Listen to 'I Am The Fly' youll see what I mean.
I fully agree
indian song is a shit
@@deckofcards87 not plagiarism - just a few similar phrases
Just listened to the full album for the first time this year, and I totally had the same thought.
PLEASE SPOTIFY UPLOAD THIS ALBUM :((
It's already on there which is where I listened on there

That bass riff is lodged firmly in my head and I won't be happy til I've worked it out. Brilliant!

Damn, I haven't heard this since 1995! Had the CD, lost it somewhere along the way. Awwww, memories!
thats about how long its been since i heard this myself.
Same. Had it back then, in hindsight I, eventually, realized either roommates or their sketchy friends had stolen a few of my CDs. I wonder what other forgotten gems I owned were stolen from me when I was young and high
So lucky I found this CD pre-owned for 20p today! I've been listening to it all day!
Oh man, I cannot live long enough to beat that deal. Nice one.
Love this song! LOVE this band!!!
THIS ALBUM BLOWS MY HEAD TO BITS IT'S THAT POWERFUL.
This whole album is an absolute jewel, and so is Justine.

Rings a bell....ahhhh, Blur - Girls & Boys...
and Wire - I Am The Fly
The Album still sounds great all these years later... 👌
Ah love listening to this album, second cd I brought, still have it for long car journeys
A 90s classic! This is one of my favorite albums of the 90s.
happy b Justine Frischmann ;-)
The best
God damn epic song
fuckin amazing
I am the fly ..I am the fly...
Heard them on a commercial! Groovy LP Just discovered them 2017. Wow.
Love Elastica and particularly love Justine, such a sexy woman
it's not on spotify is it?
This album makes me think of the first album of the pretenders : rock / punk ( whatever ) and all titles are gems
i am the fly i am the fly
Sounds so much like Girls and Boys by Blur. Like unmistakably. Wonder which came first
ThreeShitsToTheWind don’t really think it sounds that much like Girls and Boys, though if ya need to know, Parklife released a year earlier.
The Blur song came first
@@philatio1744 they have a similar beat, and the guitar playing is not so different from each song
Saudades da época ...1995
sounds very much like a Damon song.
Not hard to see Justine was in a relationship with Blur's Damon Albarn, here...Beetlebum revisited!
Still sounds good!
Make a cup of tea put Elarecord on....
2002~2019 還在聽
fuckin stranglers inspired base-line... awesome!

존나 멋있어
А группа очень даже ничего была. У меня был альбом их.
Wire- I am the fly...... Plagiarism.
yeah that is kinda true..
postmodernism
I think this song is worth existing because of the bass line.
You get approximately 50 chords to choose from. Look up the word “plagiarism”.

drummer is feeling unwell...
why do you say that?
because he's going "oooh, aaah" etc. that's the drummer doin' that.
Justin Welch, more like Justin Belch
T.S Quint, meet Trisha Jones, they call her Trish "the dish"
THIS RECORD IS GOOD FOR CRUISING DOWN OR UP THE PCH.
the chocolate
Not another teen movie.
3 chords good, 2 chords better, 1 chord best.
Anyone else think Justine looks totally like Ronni Ancona at 1.43?
I thought she looked like Nelly Furtado :/
JUSTINE HAS THE BEST BIGGEST DOUGH EYED BROWN EYES EVER, ULTRA SEXY. THE BAND ARE QUITE GOOD TOO. HAHA.
| FILTHY RICH |
Like if you know the reference
super,,years "passing" but the same power stuff,,am I eternally teenager? jj better"
Wire
They kinda sound like "Gang of four"....dontcha think?.

90th were not better. We were only younger.
Arlon Rando i didn’t exist in the nineties but it seemed like a cool decade.
