The meaning of the song is :
A black swan is often considered a misfortune in literature since black is a calor of gloom, anger and death . Suga's verse talks about someone losing their youthful drive and how this person is going through their 'first death' - Death of passion . In RM's verse he explains how when you feel like you're losing that passion you push harder but you realize you just can't do it anymore . You want to give your all but the sad reality is that - the part of you no longer 'lives' & you can't do what you once did, anymore . No matter how famous, no matter how many awards they have won, the members have always devoted themselves to the art of making music . So with all this in mind BTS is expressing how when the day comes where they no longer feel the passion to do what they love doing the most - making music - IT WILL FEEL LIKE DEATH TO THEM

Basically lagu ni bukan maksud jangan obses but actually takut bila diorang punya passion and love towards music fades in time. Lagu ni sangat deep and meaningful even the choreo has the meaning itself. They love music so much and this song perfectly portray their feelings towards music.

Kesemuaan lagu BTS ada meaning yg terserat. Even their dances represent something within the lyric in their songs. Yup real deep song guys.
For a better composition comparison maybe you can watch the art film mv. They tried orchestral arrangements with strings (including the gayageum if im not mistaken) and the vocals are heavily autotuned and mixed to divert the listener from immediately recognising the singer and blend well with the strings. Plus the pro dancers really insinuate the meaning of the song more deeply.

Let me add some more, summary from this song is their first death (Suga's lyrics) when they lost interest in music dan bila nilai muzik hilang drpd diri dorang bcs dorang dh makin memuncak (well-known/on the top). A little bit explanation, black swan is the song about how they really afraid of losing their passion for arts and music.
This album is heavily inspired and influenced by a psychological book called Map of The soul by Carl Jung. In this whole album, they express their own story which incorporated with the concept of persona, shadow and ego (from the book).
Dont worry guys, music depends on preferences as long as u enjoy. And bts songs are always open for people own's interpretation.

Aaa Black Swan lagu favorit saya, memang tidak easy listening tapi punya deep meaning. Saya suka sama mereka sebab mostly lagu mereka ada maknanya, ngga melulu soal cinta-cintaan.
