This video is a great example of why I subscribe to your channel. I like several bonsai TH-camrs, but you have a better approach than most. You not only show what you're doing with follow ups, but you explain in detail why you are doing it. It starts to make sense about having a vision for the future and the steps to get there. I really appreciate your consideration for your viewers understanding. Thanks!
You’ve done it again. Fully describing why your design/changes will make a better bonsai. Your grandson will end up having a beautiful Bonsai to remember you. Looking forward to followup videos. Merry Christmas.
Bonsai is like a sculpture in your head that you slowly work on for ten years. I like the problem root, it gives the tree character. But like you say, people have their own vision.
Hi Milton it has taken me a while to understand your method of pruning and styling, so much so I used your method on one of my Sabina's and look forward to watching the foliage growing out over the next year. Thank you. Hope you have a happy Christmas.
Milton, could you do a bonsai from mini christmas tree? The nurserys are selling them now so inexpensively! It might be fun for the new year. Have a wonderful holiday season, to you and the team!
My standard bonsai soil mix is equal parts of sndy Loam (or top soil) , Peat or coconut coir, and perlite...works well for most if not all plants...and only costs me 30 center per large bonsai pot...Cost me not much for 100 bonsai!

Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Your thoughts about the styling of this tree is very well explained while you are pruning this tree. This is a great legacy to your children.
Many thanks
