last team was so bad all they had to do was stick together they pushed one by one. realistically youre gonna win the 1v1 every time but if they all push you together the chances of you winning that goes way down

Definitely would have been the better choice. They could also have chosen to simply not push the bush, closed gap with bunkers, or thrown a shock at it.
But I don't think anybody in a typical squads game is expecting the last opponent to be a cracked 1-v-4 player - they probably thought he had lost the rest of his team and was on his last legs, so they ego challenged thinking it was EZ dubs.
