I'm a atc70 og and haven't seen one in person yet. your so lucky. I've got pictures of me and my brother 20 years ago doing donuts on red 85s. my brother proofed to my uncle he could rebuild a motor with only a tub of silicone to seal even the old head gaskets. lol
@@ThisOldTrike ya I have family in Bedford Pennsylvania that's all about honda atc anything. My first rife was on a 86 250r and a 250 big red witch my uncle still rides daily. I'm about to 40 and he must of got that big red new. I don't remember him not haven it. You have a awesome collection man.
My sister had an 84 when I was probably 5... she got hurt on it and then it disappeared (dad sold it). That left a void in my heart that I've thankfully been able to fill with 112 other Hondas.

Your best bet, if you want your son to ride a blue 70, is to buy a red 70 and get blue maier fenders and paint the tank and forks to match. The price of a blue one with nice fenders and tank is going to be $3000 or more... vs. $1500 +/- for a red one. Honestly, if you told me you were going to let your kids ride one of the blue ones... I probably wouldn't sell it to you because I know there aren't many nice ones left out there.

I did! 1984 ATC 70, to 19?? FL250 Odyssey, to a couple Attex 6x6, to 1990 Polaris Trail Boss 250, to 1998 Honda 300ex! Still have the 70 and 300ex.
