Okay but seriously though, Ryan's mother is undeniably exploiting him and using his fame for financial gain. It's a blatant exploitation of a child for the sake of profit, and he isn’t living his childhood. This actually needs to stop. Unless he wants to do it?
Ofc he's going to say he wants to do it even though he's suffering. He depends on his parents as a minor and they basically "groomed" him to do this, kids do what their parents want to keep them happy. It's his normal. Just like children in cults often don't know they're in a cult until adulthood.
I also hope it stops though. He's certainly going to be one of these kids going no-contact after moving out.

I bet the parents don't let him watch you tube, unless it's a training/ grooming exercise. They wouldn't want him to see there are other ways he can be successful and be happy. The interview with him and his parents was truly unhinged. I think I’ve never seen anyone struggle so much on an answer to, “What TH-camrs do you watch?” When he’s like, “ I don’t watch SINGULAR TH-camrs” (that’s a weird word choice), or that insanely long pause before saying something about Minecraft, or when he said I like MrBeast but then immediately retracted not to take any sides (I guess)… The kid was literally terrified of his parents… Maybe we need to call CPS?

@freedomofspeech2420 Im extremely sensitive to noise, too. When i watch or meet someone in person, their voice has to be either normal or very calm. If it's loud or squeaky, i will never like them no matter what. My brain will always have a fight or flight response when i see them, even when they dont open their mouths because I've heard their voice before.

I used to let my kids watch, then started noticing they would upload to his channel and it wouldn't even be Ryan in the videos! It started showing the parents on fancy vacations without Ryan and I immediately said they using that poor kid for money and spending it and not even taking him like wtf, this is his channel, people wanted to watch him. My kids loved seeing him play with toys or check out toys before we'd buy them. But after that I banned them from watching. I don't believe they're being very good parents, just using him. They need to let him move on and do his own things now, especially since he's not as popular anymore. I didn't realize he was already this big either and his voice has changed , it's definitely time for him to make either his own age appropriate content, or just let him have a break from TH-cam all together.
