And no, you can't take money from it for travel expenses and management fee's because you quit your job to manage them. And they are required to attend at least 5 sessions alone with a financial manager that can stop you from manipulating them into giving you THEIR money saying well, I got nothing, I was spending everything on you'.

The interview with him and his parents was truly unhinged. I think I’ve never seen anyone struggle so much on an answer to, “What TH-camrs do you watch?” When he’s like, “ I don’t watch SINGULAR TH-camrs” (that’s a weird word choice), or that insanely long pause before saying something about Minecraft, or when he said I like MrBeast but then immediately retracted not to take any sides (I guess)… The kid was literally terrified of his parents… Maybe we need to call CPS?

@freedomofspeech2420 Im extremely sensitive to noise, too. When i watch or meet someone in person, their voice has to be either normal or very calm. If it's loud or squeaky, i will never like them no matter what. My brain will always have a fight or flight response when i see them, even when they dont open their mouths because I've heard their voice before.

I used to let my kids watch, then started noticing they would upload to his channel and it wouldn't even be Ryan in the videos! It started showing the parents on fancy vacations without Ryan and I immediately said they using that poor kid for money and spending it and not even taking him like wtf, this is his channel, people wanted to watch him. My kids loved seeing him play with toys or check out toys before we'd buy them. But after that I banned them from watching. I don't believe they're being very good parents, just using him. They need to let him move on and do his own things now, especially since he's not as popular anymore. I didn't realize he was already this big either and his voice has changed , it's definitely time for him to make either his own age appropriate content, or just let him have a break from TH-cam all together.

"$60" was probably 5 tickets for 2 for parents and 3 kids. Also, Coogan's Law was made way before the internet- as far as I know, it only applies to child actors in movies/TV. Not to online content like TH-cam videos (I guess the exception would be streaming services). Though one state has passed a law making sure kids get compensated for making online content and I think others are considering something similar.

My own brother right now is closer to Ryan’s age, and he’s obviously in a critical point of growing adolescence. He’s at the stage where he’s trying to grow and change. While he still showed a hint of toy-based things like building aircraft’s, collecting toy cars. But at the same time, his hobbies are changing in a hopes to be more mature.
I can definitely say that he’s no longer the silly, hyperactive little boy he used to be years ago. He wants to be taken seriously, he wants to appear ‘cool’ to his friends. And We as a family respect that about him. We are proud that he’s basically gotten out of his shell, and try to encourage him to flourish.
So even though this isn’t supposed to be about me obviously, This whole Ryan thing hits me to a personal level because of this. I feel insulted that his parents STILL had use this childish persona to bank off the fame and followers, instead of letting him move on. I can’t imagine if something like this would ever happen to an actual family member of mine. They would be so frustrated if they were exploited and treated like this.
