    I like your meaningful stories while you paint. It reminds us that we are all just human finding solace and peace with a paint brush. And I just got in some 30 by 10 inch canvases and this gives me an idea for the type of images that work well for them.

    Awe Clive......you sound very down about your Dad. I lost my brother and I had had words with him as well and hadn't spoken to him for the few days before he passed away. Something that is hard to shake.....I know how guilty I feel as well ((hugs)). And thank you so much for all your videos. I watch you all the time and you've been a great help to me☺

    I couldn’t sleep so thought I’d watch a short part of this video, now I’m ready for bed as I couldn’t resist and watched the complete thing!
    I love how you just build the painting up as you go along, not bothering about straight edges etc, the painting shows the character you wanted it to have. It’s really lovely,
    I’m inspired to try one of my own photos I took in Cyprus a few months ago, with a very similar theme. I know what my next painting will be, thank you Clive.
    This is the first one of your videos I’ve watched, and I got intrigued hearing you mention making your own Gesso, paint etc, now I’m going to watch more of your videos. Thank you, and for the moment, goodnight ( because it’s 03:40 and time for bed....again).

    No need to worry about the filming it was fine, wish you had glazed it though so i could have seen how to use the technique in context. Keep up the good work Clive and i'll tune in next week.

      I used a few different ones for this when you see me looking to the left during filming it’s normally me looking at a monitor to make sure my cameras are working

    What sort of brushes do use. Are they expensive ones

    • @CLIVE5ART
      @CLIVE5ART  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have many types some very cheap others expensive as long as the work for you a brush is a brush cost won’t make you paint any better like a £1000 fishing rod you can still catch a fish on a tree branch

    Hi Clive , asked You earlier about paper vs canvas paintings... but now I decided to try out canvas boards which takes less space so they are more easy to storage.. I'm just wondering can I frame canvas board without glass , like original stretched canvas painting ? If it's not possible then I need to find some another support for my art , because I don't want paintings framed under glass ( too heavy and expensive) .

    • @CLIVE5ART
      @CLIVE5ART  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can frame them no need for glass with acrylic
