I enjoy grinding this game, I love finding rare pokemons, and unlike traditional games you actually get something of value from playing. The Dopamine you get from catching a super rare Illuvial is 10x than getting a perfect stats like in your Talisman in Monster Hunter Sunbreak endgame xD
I think you are saying we are not at elden ring's level. I would agree that action combat is not there but graphics and everything else is pretty close. It would be great if we could make combat that engaging for sure
Its so hard to compare to axie tho, since axie was just a pyramid game being farmed by ppl with tons of phones just botting it up. So they kept throwing money into it because they benefit until the crash which is what drove is so sky high, and drove the player "count".
That is a true statement. However a similar botting system could be setup on a smaller scale with computers. I'm sure some will do it early on. But because of the game economics it won't be as effective. I am hopeful that this structure will lead to even more engagement and retention in the long term
Ya I feel you there. The grind can get pretty dull(especially after a few hundred hours). I'm sure the DAO will come up and request new features and fresh mechanics to keep the game fun and engaging as time goes on
I should have mentioned the unlocks. However I believe the first ones don't happen till after the first month(maybe even 3 months) DAU and Revenue reports. So then everyone can decide what risk tolerance they will be ok with.
I just saw this. My apologies for the delay. It has been a rough ride. I'm right there with you. Seeing a lot of red at this point, but bull market is here and illuvium is making some massive changes. I'll be breaking these down in the next couple days. I am optimistic they will bring it back

I have 220 illuvium with my average at $78 it has been in the 30-40 dollar range for quite some time now and im about to dump it.
