Extended Highlights of the 2024 College National Championships Final between California Polytechnic SLOCORE and Brown University Brownian Motion in the Men's Division.
This was boring ultimate until Brown's point to go up 6-4. Then they got it cooking with the quick pops (a few gratuitous hospital passes thrown in for good measure).
It was either Darkside or Brown since Carleton won in 2017 when Jack Williams, Ben Jagt, Cole Jurek, etc were still in college. Don't think John Randolph or Liam Serales-Bohs graudated from high school yet 😂 Darkside has made at least semis since 2014 for 10 straight years.
his toes are still down when he releases, im not sure what that means in terms of rules. also since he doesnt have a mark i dont think it really matters too much at that margin
@@anaKenCS I agree, I think it's *just* impeccable timing and not a travel, however it's close enough that I'd be telling my team to keep an eye on it - and let him know off field, as a courtesy, so that a travel call next time isn't a surprise.
Need the SLO UNC game ASAP
Please
Yes
I'm struck by how many chest-level, uncontested discs Cal dropped. Ain't gonna win too many games doing that.
9 turns in one game is crazy for a worlds player
Ya know I gotta feel for SLO they’re playing their first games at 5:00AM their time.
Man ESPN film anything
Janna Hamaker is the worst observer that USA Ultimate has ever had. I've seen terrible calls froms her. Look a the call at 4:10

3:44 is the most college play. Wide open dump and hucks into double coverage on the sideline.
Calvin’s skills are some of the best, but his mental game just wasn’t there.
The stadium wind at Breese Stevens is hard to get used to. Wind can change directions and get stronger above the walls about 8-10 feet off the ground.
8:11 A lot happening here. Great throw > questionable travel/no travel > looks like the defender would have got this if not for a gust.
Yeah, that whole leg lifted up on the throw lol.
The wind is criminal in this play

@@anaKenCS that means it's not a travel
