I was 16 when I was at this performance. Paul McCartney was on the pyramid stage but I KNEW I had to see Zero 7. I made the right choice! Unforgettable. This music was the soundtrack to my adolescence, still sends shivers down my spine 10 years on!
damn right you made the right choice.. im getting the shivers hearing it from youtube but to have been there live.. thats a magic you got all to youself.. you and those lucky people.. very lucky and im jealous
Mozez was performing with them that year. He was on the first two albums. Jose Gonzalez was on the third album so he wasn't there that year in Glastonbury.
Imagine if they did a reunion tour ??!! I'd go out of my way to see these amazing women and musicians! Those were the good old days when life was more simple and sublime.
This band kicks so much ass. All singers have off days where they're a bit raspy or fatigued, but in Tina's case it actually makes the song BETTER, which goes to show how talented they are. I love the dichotomy in Zero 7's work - very peaceful/fizzy musical, but with lyrics/poetry which IMO describe some of the deepest psychological pain & regrets that people go through. "Now that you're older, taking the time to look back over your shoulder at the days confusion took" - it really hurts, and - though the music itself floats through the air peacefully - Tina's toughness and the keyboardist's unexpected improvisational fury reveal to us how difficult an internal reconciliation can be - the challenge of reckoning with oneself.
The album When it Falls is the sound of 2004 and the beginning of the 2000’s, yet is timeless cause I still listen to it completely amazed 15 years later. Soundtrack of my youth... Love Zero 7 ❤️
blimey.....that keyboard solo takes off to another realm of blissful groove! And Tina Dico.....she just gets it, feels it.....she partakes as much as she sings! untried sexy indeed
One of the most underrated bands in the world. The lineup of Sia Fulleur, Tino Dico and Sophie Barker with Zero 7 is most amazing and I'm always dazed and confused as to why more people don't see that and understand what good music is.
Loved Sophie and Tina’s vocals together. Wonderful production and sound setup here. Just how lucky you were if you got the chance to see this live! That would have been the bomb 💖🇦🇺🌎 congrats to Zero 7.
Curto quando vejo uma obra prima dessas e quando vou dar o like, eu noto que já tá ativado e não faço ideia de quantos anos faz que entrei pela ultima vez rs... Orgulho por curtir música de alto nível.
If only I could play mad keyboard solos and have beautiful blonde women look at me deep within the thumping groove and heat of sweet sweet musical justice. It's the dream
Just once..... That's all I would ever need. HEY! I meant to be able to see her in concert! Pervs......*snickers* Ya I think it too whenever I watch her perform.
@045632 check out Thievery Corporation. thats my #1 recommendation. also Massive Attack, DJ Shadow, Stolen Identity.. if i think of more i'll let you know haha

Lucky bastard! I loved zero7. I was 30 when they played Glastonbury. Sadly I never got to see them live. Wish they'd do a comeback gig !
McCartney is wack,great,logical choice.
Paul McCartney or Zero7 no contest. You definitely made the right choice.
I saw Paul McCartney instead that night and he only played the classics after an hour plus. Definitely should've watched Zero 7 first
damn right you made the right choice.. im getting the shivers hearing it from youtube but to have been there live.. thats a magic you got all to youself.. you and those lucky people.. very lucky and im jealous

While I like Tina she is not my favourite Zero7 singer. But here in this video she is godly!

This is purrrrfection at it's finest. The bluesy rasp in her voice is completely erotic.
