won't taking 170 from singapore to Larkin be cheaper since the entire trip from your point of jumping on to the mrt and getting off Larkin be treated as one trip and there is a max fare cap? just wondering.

As from woodlands i will be taking 950 so after sg checkpoint i take bus 160 and afterJb checkipoint i take bus 170 to larkin . Will ezlink card take everytime new fare on these 3 buses or altogether one fare for travel from woodlands to larkin?

Hi.. In short, yes it is the same bus 170 which departs from queen street. But after you arrive at woodlands checkpoint you can take any Singapore bus (if you prefer) to go to jb checkpoint. At jb checkpoint going to Larkin you can take bus SBS 170 or causeway bus CWL

Hi @erikliza_ For Singapore bus, you have to tap every time you board the bus. Most likely you will change bus after woodlands checkpoint and it doesn’t matter. You still need to tap. Hi if you pay by EZ-Link you should tap every time. If you pay by cash, ask the bus captain, I never pay cash 😀

Trip to Larkin consider as one trip. The max fare is $2.26 for journey over 40.2km

It was connecting bus from my house. Total is not more than 2.5 sgd
