I just got mine and only seem to get about 23 km on smooth bike lanes. In middle mode. Will it get better after charging the scooter a few more times?
Have to add that I am 110 kilos (220lbs?)

Depends on so many variables...I only get about 50km of the rated 65km, then again I'm 85kg . Think the rated 65km is in ideal conditions for a 70kg rider on flat terrain and at 25C degrees in eco mode. Give the battery a few charging cycles and maybe ride in a lower mode if range is your main goal...I always ride on sport mode since I never need to go the full 50kms.

Hey, just wondering what mode did you use? Also, I'm pretty sure the scooter will last longer while on eco, so you can go a little longer on range.

Sports mode and riding flat out! So take these results as worse case scenario for a 85kg rider. Definately get more on eco but I rarely ever ride that slowly 😉

Hi, can you please tell me the make of your solar charger? I'm looking to buy one but not sure what to get. Thanks

One I'm using is Sauoki S270 which unfortunately has been discontinued. They do have a new model but supply and access has been limited and the price on the new one is abit much. Good news through is solar chargers have come a long way and there are now heaps of companies that make very reputable models - jackery, anker, blue yeti, goal zero etc make great models. Just make sure the inverter is rated high enough for what you need (both peak and sustained Watts) , the power capacity is sufficient and it has suitable cooling or you may hit into trouble with over heating. This is all highly dependant on what you are using it for so do your research before hand.

@@randomgeek4521 ok thanks. Pretty much just want one for mid scoot top ups. Want one that's not too heavy and will fit in my backpack, so maximum wattage in a lightweight unit, maybe 300w. Thanks for the reply

Then just focus on looking at models with sufficient capacity and wattage output. The model I'm using was great for low end scooter since the charger wattages were low but now with higher power scoots and fast or even dual charging its not so simple. With scooters using a modified sine wave inverter is fine - its more a question of weigh and what you want to carry as gear. Personally I see these as last resort need to get back to my car/power point or mid ride top up to make sure you get to your destination. So what scooter are you riding and what's the power rating on the charger?
