I did this today on my 07. I will say 2 things though 1) when installing the new one I just mounted it to the engine first before anchoring it on the frame as it was easier to see where to position the bolts and I didn’t risk dropping the engine too low (I was using a floor jack) 2) the E8 bit removed the bolts at the bottom no problem so I didn’t need to use the 18mm on the nuts first.
Make sure to spray the bolts and nuts with penetrating oil and let them soak. I loosened the frame bolts, lifted the engine to remove any pressure on the 15mm bolts and they came right out. Issue I ran into to was trying to use the E-8 reverse torx socket. The bolts would not budge. The mount would not come out until I used a box wrench to remove the 10mm nuts holding the plate to the mount. Hope this helps.
This was a great video I just did all 3 on my 06 300c. I did have t I vtake out the starter on the passenger side. Also in the driver side don't be scared to jack up the engine to clear the area and remove the mount. This mount has me chasing a ghost replaced hundreds of dollars in parts cause it was causing torque converter shutter and stalling. Finally read an article that it could be the mounts and replaced them all three (the engine ones where cracked in half. Fixed all my issues I was about t I replace my torque converter. 🤮🤮
Only problem im going thru rn is watching him just slide the mount out and I've been trying for two days to clear the exhaust even with the engine fully jacked
You did not show every both of you took out did not show every bowl going back in and you also changed a couple bolts as well, but didn’t tell us about washers or why you changed them what about the two rusty ones on top that one look like it broke off what happened there

I love.
How the wheel nuts were already all over towards. You never turned any of them a bit before. The torque wrench went off
Honesty believe that he skipped out on something here, cuz it is quite literally impossible to just slide the mount under the exhaust like he did bro.
What size were the bolts you used to replace the ones that broke

I noticed those humps vs straight edges on oem mounts when you swap the bottom plate over at 6:58 are they normal or by design?
Good video very compatent 🤙
Everyone on the internet is saying not to use these products and to only buy OEM.
Ive also had to drop the subframe on top of lifting the engine up to get these bad boys out
