    I made one today! I used two pages glued together that came out of an 80s sewing book, for an 80s-themed junk journal I'm making. :) Very neat! I didn't have a Sizzix cutter so I made two chipboard templates and used a hobby knife....worked pretty well. I am still learning how to use eyelets/the crop-a-dile -- still can't figure out the difference between an eyelet and grommet, and between an 1/8" eyelet and 3/16" eyelet! Trying to order them online is confusing :) Thanks for the lovely tutorial!

    It's really great project, this can be applied to any fussy cut image. Really love your tutorial. New subbie here 🌸 Binge watching your videos, you have really nice soft voice, so soothing 😊💚 XOXO💙

      Aww thank you so much! That means a lot. Absolutely, you can definitely use this method with any fussy cut image or even collaging! In fact this is the same method I’ve used for many of my collaged envelopes.

    Hello There! I am enjoying your videos and it looks like you are getting a lot done. I finally tried making the textbook page envelope with acetate window. I need some practice. And I did not get to the point of making the closure. I just wanted to share it with you, but I see you can’t send attachments here. I am doing a couple of botanical journals so I did not use the French ladies which I did buy. I also bought a cheaper version of the Spellbinders die hat I found on Amazon. I love the French ladies, but don’t know how to use them yet. There are so many. Thanks again for the tutorial.

      @@LaceCoveredSkies Yes, I will tag you. I wanted to know the name of the Etsy store where you bought the printables that you use for the acetate windows. I found some great ones but am looking for variety. Have a great day!! And many thanks.

    Great job on the tutorial and thanks! I just wanted to let you know that the Spellbinders die you use costs about $40. dollars on Amazon. I hope you paid less. I found something comparable, but it also has some embossing around the cut frame. The bad part is that I might not get it until May and I need it sooner. Thanks for a great video and wishing you well! Juliana

      Oh wow, I did not know they were that expensive! I actually did a swap with someone who was destashing some dies and started off my collection that way. I hope the die gets to you before May!!

      @@LaceCoveredSkies Oh, btw, I got that cheaper die in the mail and it works fine. I don't know why the other one so so crazy expensive. Maybe they saw your video!! LOL!!

    Which dies are these? Thanks for the great tutorial.

    • @LaceCoveredSkies
      @LaceCoveredSkies  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The dies are from Spellbinders - the A2 Curved Matting Basics A. It also says it’s a Card Creator S5-171. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching!

    Wonderful tutorial. Just wondering if it would be possible to speak up just a bit. While you voice is very soothing I have my volume up to 100% and can barely hear you.
