As an avid costumer and D*C attendee, this takes me to a happy place. AND you even got a shot of my wife and sister-in-law in their Last. Unicorn and Red Bull costumes. And this song is great!
Hands down I think this is one of the best videos i've ever seen of Dragon Con footage, period. Captured a lot of 'what you see' at D*C and is just overal outstanding! Thank you to all who put this together.. Awesome, awesome job. :0)
the editing and general feel of this video is just wonderful. I actually got goosebumps, which is an absurd feat for just filming a convention. well done sirs, all around.

You'll find plenty of steam punk, fantasy, sci-fi and more typical cos-play based on anime, movies, manga, comics, games, etc. But there are original costumes as well. But you needn't wear a costume at all; it is not required by any means. If you do wear one, I'd recommend considering what will be comfortable, practical, and convenient for using the restroom, and be sure to sign up for the parade! Have fun!

@scorpionimph As for parking, the hotel lots are around $20. Nearby ones are similarly priced and I've heard mixed reviews about safety. Plus keep in mind that 40,000 attendees with NCAA football games on the same weekend will fill up all the parking in downtown Atlanta quickly. If you're going to be there a few days, I highly recommend parking at a MARTA station and taking the train to the con.
it was very nice, people actually dedicated time on their costumes! i specially liked the female Shepard at 1:23, but almost all of them were awesome :D
this video is amazing, & beatdownboogie is my new favourite! however, i am sad at the fact that i dont know how to initiate going to a con. this is in georgia right? im from southern ontario soo.. anyways this is fascinating footage, the borderlands mask was quite awesome with its detail, the spinning mouth breather was a nice touch, & the led eyes. i think i would fit right in with this crowd haha. i would go as Auron, or a modified version of that.

@Khrome1 It's a costume party with close to 40,000 peeps that runs 24/7 from Thurs until Monday (non-stop).
