I find it interesting that this song is apparently not the actual Anthem to the Edge of the Earth, but rather a proclamation of the need for such and the narrator's intent to fulfill it. Interesting choice.
Most artists' work peters out after the first two albums, but Dirt Poor Robins has only gotten better and better with each new EP and album (which is saying something because The Cage was already pretty amazing). Your sound has evolved masterfully, and I am always awestruck by each new release, this one being no exception!

This song feels like a loyal servant to the young prince convincing him to run away so that his brother, the evil king won't have him killed for opposing his plans and as they go the servant shares their plans for a brighter, better future and the prince finally begins to listen
Same, but in a different way, it sounds like a song about an empire's growth has reached a dead-end, forcing them to spread thro "wires" (Internet) and those opposed were forced to flee to edge of the earth, where the systematic brainwashing from the empire cannot reach.
