Little fact for those who may not know, pleading insanity in court is a horrible idea. Assuming you actually convince the jury and the honour that you did whatever due to mental issues, you would NOT be set free without consequence. You would be taken to a psychiatric hospital with no freedom and, in some cases, worse treatment than prison.
I don’t know about anyone else, but this seems to me like Funtime Freddy is still dealing with the guilt of what he did as Fourth Closet Funtime while being manipulated by the Mimic without telling anyone. He also seems to be almost afraid of the thought that people he cares about might hate him because of what had happened. His attempts to prove himself innocent in that dream were misunderstood as threats. This kind of reminds me of how the Mimic told Funtime that in working with him, Funtime would be making the world better, both for himself and others, possibly leading Funtime to believe that people opposing him were misunderstanding his intentions.
I knew a fun time won't be completely ok. After what happened, I would honestly like to see more of this, and I also want to see if golden Freddy can guess why he acts like this, but it's clear that he is blaming himself for everything still, and he is ashamed of what he did, and he cares more about Francine and Freddie, and would never hurt them intentionally, ever again, and he's scared that one day he might
Of course, this was yet another dream video. I honestly don't understand the point of these dream videos since they provide little to no substance to the lore. The only implication that they add to the lore is that the character who has the dream is left traumatized for the last few minutes of the video, and then they calm down shortly after. In order for these videos where the characters have nightmares to be of some significance, they need to have an impact and stick with the character. Otherwise, what's the point of the video? Sun is probably the only character currently where his dreams and hallucinations of Bloodmoon actually affected him for an extended period of time. Of course, he's in a more easy state of mind now that Eclipse is gone for the time being.
And I don’t understand why does every video has to be for the lore. I mean these dream videos are probably filler VR Chat episodes, like the 5 embarrassing secrets series or the Grimace shake videos. They aren’t meant to be serious lore videos, but entertaining filler ones
