Glad you got it sorted! The high performance switch can make a big difference. I've also noticed that if the footage has a lot of people in it, the People Tracking settings can make a big impact on performance. Definitely worth experimenting with to see if you can get a balance of performance/number of people you want to track.
Hi, I am having the same issue. TD is freezing and not working whenever I turn on “Body 3D.” Where can I turn off the high performance mode like you did? Is it the setting inside TD or on my machine itself?
It might be worthwhile! A _lot_ has been added to the program since then, including major speed improvements and optimizations, lots of new features, and support for new hardware. According to the wiki (docs.derivative.ca/Body_Track_CHOP) it looks like it should be supported: _Hardware: This operator uses the Augmented Reality (AR) SDK of the Nvidia Maxine system and requires a 20, 30, or 40 series Nvidia RTX GPU._
Great question! First find a PNG of a flower petal with a transparent background (or make one yourself), and then drag it into TouchDesigner. This should add a Movie File In TOP to the network which loads the image file. Then, you can set the _Texture_ parameter on the *Material* page of the particlesGPU COMP to Custom, and drag the Movie File In TOP with the petal image onto the _Particle Texture Map_ parameter to use it in place of the default square. Hope that helps!
@@TheInteractiveImmersiveHQIt worked! Thank you. BTW: I tried this with a video of a dancer inside a club, dimly lit and for some reason, it is not generating body tracking data. Not sure if it is because the subject is wearing all black outfit
it’s a game changer for real time scenery 🎉🎉 thanks for the quick round up!
So true! Definitely could see it becoming a widely used tool. Thanks for watching :)
This is fantastic! But my TD is hanging whenever I switch on Body3D. I have a capable GPU, and this works in Notch. Any thoughts?
Aha, turning off High Performance fixes it.

About time!! 🎉🥳

Is Nvidia rtx 2050 ok to use it?

it's incredible. how can we make flower petals in the place of the tiles as particles ?
