Enjoy your retreat. Definitely bring back lots of haul - for me the best part of watching flosstube is the variety of patterns and projects which I would probably never otherwise see.
Hi Rachel, just binge watched all your video's. Really enjoyed them. Sew Stitch Sew Nat mentioned you, which is how I found you. Thank you for sharing your progress on your Wips. Enjoy your retreat. Will look forward to future video's 😊❤
Thank you so much for watching and huge thanks for telling me how you found me, headed straight to Natalie’s channel and ended up subscribing ❤️ love finding a new channel to follow
Your hair looks beautiful :) I was so happy, when I saw your video title, 'cause I'm starting to stitch on a x-mas project today for Christmas in July and so your video just fit perfectly. :) Tbh, I'm not a monogamous, but kinda monogamous stitcher and love the joy of a finished project. XD But I truly get you, 'cause I'm always tempted to start more projects (cause there are so many awesome ones out there) and just enjoy having all of those. But then I tell myself I can never finish them if I start too many, so I don't start them. XD At the moment I've three projects, one of them is a SAL, so there's a partial finish every month. My Christmas project I do one page every year... this year two pages (so I've just one more year left in the end, I think ;D) and a Christmas gift I want to finish by Oktober, so I've enough time to frame it and stuff. But I also don't stitch every day... mostly just on weekends, so maybe it's a good thing that I just have that few projects. And I do enjoy seeing all the projects you and others do, 'cause I feel the joy you have with them. :) And that's what's matters, so... long story short... XD... even if you put just one strand of floss in a project every year... as long as it makes you happy and you can enjoy your stitching you do it right. :) Wish you a wonderful time at the retreat and am excited to hear from you afterwards. :) Have a great time!
I love the “partial finish each month”, I wish I was up to date on my SALs to have that but I’m so behind- I started too many things! The best thing, I think, about this hobby is that there’s no “right” way to approach it - hundreds of projects and no finishes? Fine! One project at a time til it’s a finish? Also fine! Like you say, it’s about enjoying it and my way makes me happy and that’s all that matters😊 ❤️ thank you so much x
@@TalkingDogStitcher Tbh, I've partaken a lot of SALs, but most of them I just collect to stitch up in the future. :) I can't do more then one SAL at a time, 'cause of my health, so keeping up is a big thing for me... but had not stitched for a few month and get back on track a few weeks ago, so I had to do all the SAL parts for the last three month. Luckily they weren't too big. ^^''' And for anything else I just can say AMEN!!! there's no right or wrong as long as you enjoy what you do :)

I love that about it too - can end up dangerous for my bank balance though! I sometimes just want to stitch everything
