@@stephenferry3017 You are totally lost in your thoughts, besides not knowing anything about SSPX, you still don't know how to interpret it. The brother in the comment didn't say about having the credo at mass, but rather that solemn gregorian.
@DUDU-rq7de I know that the only reason it has no canonical status is because Rome is too kind to come out and say the people who have refused all attempts at reconciliation without total capitulation to the Lefevbrist demands are in schism Better to declare the obvious and get it over with. And there is no necessity for the graduale to be used unless you ascribe to the heresy of formalism.
@@stephenferry3017They will RIGHTLY refuse to do so until the Vatican officially AND PERMANENTLY renounces and repudiates all the heresies introduced by Vatican II and in its wake. PERIOD. END OF DISCUSSION.
Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum. Et exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum, et vitam venturi saeculi. Amen. English: We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten not made, one in being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
on the "finalis" do the breaths too short so as to make the piece sound like sung "in one breath"; this precludes you a good breathing and a good support of high notes Which arrivals "strangled" and waning. the monodic song is a chant Often sung by people of advanced age .... without the proper breath someone ends up in apnea - or in the emergency room;) - XDXDXD
Organ or no organ, chorus or solo vocals - this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever composed and performed.
I agree
I remember when my pastor made us suffer through this during Lent. It was beautiful but hard as heck to do when you have never done so before.
Its hard because it sounds like Credo 1, and we are so used to Credo 1 that when you sing this your like "wait...this sounds wrong", same with Credo 5
Technically, the Creed isn't a prayer. It is an affirmation of faith and belief.
Comecei o estudo diário desse canto em 24/02/24 e finalizei em 22/03/2024. 🙌🙌🙌
👏👏👏

Bóg zapłać i Szczęść Boże. ❤
Benedicamus Domino. Deo gratias.
Thank you very much for your aim to upload the whole graduale. I´m looking forward to hear every sunday all chants of the proprium.
Thank you!
what is a graduale ?

Duh Sveti ishodi i iz Gospodina Isusa Krista.
We need this in every church
Tridentine mass or latin Mass
We need the SSPX to stop being stiff necked and either rejoin the Church or get out. That's what we need. We have the Creed in every Mass already.

the idea of this project is great ... I do not love as you sing this CREDO
Thank you for your opinion! I would be interested, if you could explain it more closely.
