I have the 2012 UCS version, and I really do love it. I appreciate the dome and extra play functions of the periscope and space to launch Luke’s lightsaber in the 2021 version. I have very limited space, so I didn’t pick up the 21 version as I don’t have space for duplicates. Great video-I just subscribed.
Really useful video. I’m in the market for a Lego R2D2. Really glad you pointed out the stickers on the 2024 model. The 2021 model looks like the one, just not sure I can justify the cost right now.

@@Qoobon_ that’s only the opinion of someone whose buying the set for the minifigure. For the rest of us, the 2021 is leagues ahead of the 2024 R2D2 set

They put a highly desirable minifigure in their least desirable set. People will buy this set out of FOMO just for the minifig, and scalpers will buy and resell just the figure too. Scummy business practices Lego, I am very disappointed.
It has a purpose. If you get more 25th anniversary figures, you can connect their stands with the 2x4 pieces. They did the same with the 20th anniversary figures.

i have 75308. Bought it last month and this morning i saw 75379. after your video i think mine is the best .
On the 2024 model do you think leaving the stickers off the front would look better due to the contrast in the white colors?

So, due to the author didnt' explain that, I will:
UCS 2012 is 10225
UCS 2021 is 75308
USC 2024 is 75379
Rt-d2 has been growing in size and price..

The newest is the cheapest as you can wait for a small discount + sell Malak to have a really cheap R2.
