It looks good but I will advice you get an expert or those guys who cleans pools to come for an inspection and advice. Paying GHC 500 or 600 for that service wouldn't be bad. You have to get everything correct concerning the filtration system, skimmer position b4 those pipes are buried into the concrete. Adding a fountain and bubbling section will be great. Wishing u the best.

Your description re using the hollow blocks with the steel inside sounds like how we do all our concrete construction in Jamaica. And you are right there will be less board required. However if your guy is only used to his way then it’s better to go with it.
Loving the process can’t wait to see the rest.

The waterproof chemical mixed with the concrete using the right cement ratio is very important. The size is good and it is coming along well. 👏🏿👍🏿.
