I joined an acting troupe and we performed every three months, went to musicals, improve shows and any out of the box thing. I enjoyed my time in UK more than my days in Nigeria. Sometimes you have to create your own fun and happiness.
Yes 👍🏿 happy you're engaged and finding fun in what you do. Some of us don't have the opportunity to go out whenever we like ❤️ because of childcare so you're kinda stuck at home except you want to take your active toddler everywhere which can be stressful

I think Nigerians in the diaspora should start thinking of smarter ways of making wealth, getting proper financial education and make smart financial moves rather than living your life for "shifts" alone. Either ways you will be contributing to your environment and the economy. Great video again 👏 You cant really make wealth by working just shifts. Lets rewire our minds and try to help each other, be honest to each other, so we can grow, even if these ideas seem "impossible".

Upstate NY is like that too!! We get 4 seasons though i like that. In some places its hard to find a job in America. The prices of rent are ridiculous 😅😅 you pay $2,000 to live in a hole in a wall. I guess every country has their good and bad. I work mon-fri i dont work on the weekeneds. I need my rest and my time away from the outside world 😊 🌍 Hang in there sister ❤

I'm glad you relate your personal suffering with the general social suffering in this miserable, unhappy place, the UK. Nothing is working well in the UK, and every major institution seems to be in a terrible state. Kids have absolutely no hope, and today 1 in 3 adolescents have a mental health diagnosis: 10 years ago it was 1 in 6. Poverty has mushroomed, social and economic security is a thing of the past, no-one is optimistic, no-one believes in progress with this system, many are anticipating total social collapse in the coming decade and although the way we live seems to have no future, no-one can think of any alternative - except me. All we really need for happiness is food, love and each other. If all creatures loved all creatures, all creatures would no security and happiness. It is not possible to be happy if we destroy Mother Earth, which is the ground of our existence. Really, we are Mother Earth - everything else is in crisis. We need to return to each other and Mother Earth, and then we won't need anything else.
All most people do in UK IS WORK, WORK AND WORK! even the locals dont do vacation in their country cos,,, it makes you feel like youre unserious!,, UK sweet, na the bills spoil am. We go dey alright! love and light ❤
I used to be on vitamin D. I still take it once a while. Can't wait to visit a sunny destination. I work part-time. It pays to take out health insurance, they fast track you..
Who told you there's no success? As long as I am alive and can laugh about my sad days, and acknowledge that I need extra help and support then I am succeeding! Plus you don't know what I am battling with.
Dear, why are you trying to explain to just one person that doesn't have anything positive to say. You don't owe them an explanation and don't enter the explanation trap. People are either positive, helpful or negative and judgemental. My girl, love your life and keep standing strong as you weather through completely. Even myself that works remotely can understand it. Travelling is one thing on my list this summer.

Seasonal depression is real! I had very low Vit-D and I suffered greatly. Currently on a higher dose of Vit-D and I feel so great.
