Canned pumpkin - without sugar added - is great for constipation/diarrhea!

Yep, plain pumpkin. I use powered pumpkin because I like adding it when I need some and not wasting half a can here and there.

Great tips. Our family pit bull ate an entire popsicle stick once when I was sharing my vanilla ice cream with him one day. The vet suggested we feed him gobs of Vaseline to help him pass it. Seemed to work just fine, thank goodness.
    Thanks for the other suggestions!

Decades ago a very good vet gave me the tip about vaseline petroleum jelly. Saved me a fortune! My dogs loved it and 'til the end of their very long healthy lives they loved catching licks of it when I used it on my own body as a moisturizer of make-up remover.

I want to say thank you for making this channel , my best girl a lil yorkie 12 years old became Ill about 6 months ago my neighbor was spraying so much weed and seed in his yard when it would rain it would pool at the bottom of several properties the city finall got involved , but my yorkie walked thru the pooled water and became I'll the vet gave me mytrycin vetrycin terimyacin she went blind in about a week , the vet said she was getting old maybe put her down , not a chance I stayed with her a week washing her face every few hours etc she came out of it although blinded , 2 weeks ago my yorkie made her again into the bottom of the yard someone left the door open even tho she is blind now she ran to her buddy at the end of the yard I saw her thru the kitchen window ran down grabbed her thru her into the bath washed her face rinsed her eyes she started having tremors and falling over right away fever no eating eyes infected shut within a few days glued shut withing hours from the bacteria in that water , again the vet same ndss and to consider putting her down , I'm a huge reader and found your channel I LIVE YOU AND THANK YOU MY ABNER THANKS YOU , I did as you said the heating pad immediately out her in a relaxed state she started resting 5 minutes in and she slept like that for 3 days with me cleaning her eyes and syringes of pedialyte every 30 minutes then !!!! I did the clear eyes OMG IN 1 DAY HER FILTHY RUNNY EYES WERE FINE NO MORE washing her face and giving her the nasty eye junk they had me buy every 3 hours this was after sleeping with her 2 weeks to make sure she would wake that I saw your video ...within 3 days shes eating shes back to herself I'll take her blind shes eating 3 meals sleeping by herself with her best friend not with me and as of Sunday I was able to sleep peacefully. My biggest regret was if I knew you sooner I would of never gone with all the vet crap and I probably could of done more so much easier and not being a huge believer in prescribed drugs for alot of things . I have to say thank for helping save my girl abner with the advice I was searching so hard for... I wish I could post a before and after for people ......thank you for saving my girl ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I have had the worst experience with my local vet hospital. They killed one of my two dogs and the second one just crossed the rainbow bridge because of a rare type of melanoma. I lost her a month ago and it's been the most difficult time for me because she was my bff in the whole world. I know people can be judgmental, but bc I was, and still am not in a good place mentally after losing my 15 and 12 year old companions, I adopted a puppy that came from a puppy mill.
She is quite a handful at almost 4.5 months old but a ray of sunshine nonetheless. I needed her as much as she needs me.
Well, I have two trick or treaters, and one of them seemingly did not hide his chocolate well. She ate probably 3 squares of a giant milk chocolate with almonds bar by the big H company in Pennsylvania. She weighs 22lbs, and fortunately I have 3% HP at home. I just gave her some and she's very hyper, which in a puppy is normal, but she's ignoring my commands, and she has not thrown up, yet. (click training her.) If she doesn't vomit, or symptoms occur within 24hrs, should I take her to the vet still? I was just about to get her insurance too.🤦‍♀️ The issue I’m having is with so many insurance companies, it is hard to know which one to go with for the best coverage.
Should I be worried and take her in regardless, or see first how she reacts? Your channel is a godsend, btw. TYSM for the service you are providing families like ours who are devoted to our pets as if they were our children because they are. You don't have to do this, and yet, you are honoring your practice and our furry family members by helping us give them the best care. I appreciate you! 🙏🥹

For the Chlorhexidine...I purchased this for reoccurring skin infection for my dog. His vet confirms it is not mange. However, the product states to keep from mucus areas. Does diluting it with water help? His bacterial infection flared up on under side of tail and on tail. His bum is near by.....and he licks/grooms it......can I use this on full top and bottom of tail once diluted? And how much dilution???? Thank you so much.

EE and Brenda. Silver SOLUTION or colloidal silver (for topical). Excellent to prevent. Our dog had a propensity for ear infections so we sprayed her ears with silver everyday to prevent. It works for bacterial, viral and fungal infections all 3. S. SOLUTION prevents kennel cough. 1 teaspoon morning and night in food. Every dog in my neighborhood had kennel cough except my 4 dogs. Too expensive for vet care now to have more than 1 dog at a time. Maybe soon, not even 1. Sad.

my 6lb yorkie likes to tear up puppy pads an EAT them!!! I get upset because I'm afraid of it causing a blockage or it absorbing the liquid in her colon and expanding.... I need her to "pass" it safely but I can't imagine her eating vaseline.........

Easier to give her the peroxide if you catch her soon after she eats one. I trained my dog not to eat used tissues that way - she associated the peroxide with eating them after a few times 😂

You might want to consider a pee pad holder, it will avoid her eating the pee pads

Take it to your vet asap. Don't wait or expect for an internet dr that posts videos once a month to answer an important time sensitive question like yours.
Take your kitty to the vet as soo as possible!
