Correction: at 3:20 macOS SONOMA*
For Yosemite and Sonoma: I noticed If iOS gets redesigned, it takes a year for it to get to Mac, iOS 16 had a similar lock screen to Sonoma, but that isn’t the case for Ventura even though iOS 16 and macOS Ventura released at the same time, so as for iOS 7 and Yosemite, They were both released 1 year apart yet it took 1 year for macOS to adopt the redesign

MacOS X Mojave was the last good MacOS in my opinion. It had all the classic features, 32 bit support, Dark mode and the Yosemite icon style, apart from other things. Catalina was... fine, but Big Sur ruined it. It turned Macs into giant iPads, which are giant iPhones.
I agree, Catalina was buggy, atleast Big Sur wasn’t buggy and Mojave is best
@@axethepenguin Big Sure was not buggy, but I think it destroyed MacOS. After Sonoma changed the lock screen to look like an iPad lock screen, I gave up, and started using Linux. I am currently a happy user of Ubuntu 24.04
I think that Big Sur and Sonoma is basically the same as Mac OS X Mojave, it’s just rounded and has Stage Manager and a new way to organize Notifications. The problem I have is that Apple Silicon no longer supports Bootcamp.
I agree good thing i updated mba 2012 in sierra and to mojave very fast and 32 bit apps never updating to catalina
thats the whole point of it. a macbook is supposed to make you familiar so if you have an iphone, you will be just as familiar with iphone

MY FAVOURITE MACOS VERSION: MAVERICKS
I got an Apple silicon Mac and I have FileVault enabled but dont have the old lock screen.
Log out on macos not shutdown you get the os lock screen the lockscreen when pressed power buttpn is firmware lock screen
You can recreate this in Windows XP.
