HI Y'ALL! We did some dumpster diving at apartments today and were lucky to find some great clothes we'll be able to donate. We also spotted a curb alert on our way home and I'm so happy we stopped! The vintage mugs are super cute and we also really like the needle point (is that what it is?) that was with them. We're hoping it will clean up! Thanks so much for watching, we hope you enjoy and have a great day! x Kelly, Alex, and Bones
One of my bathrooms is decorated in gnomes, so that toilet seat set I would have been interested in. To each his own I suppose! lol MERRY CHRISTMAS you two! 🎅🏻🎄🤶🏻
Alex with his one liners lately “Better to have wet feet, then poopie shoes” “When the dumpster grabs back” “Dumpster Piñata” And the best one yet “Sometimes you gotta squint” Loving the daily videos. Vlogmas is great! ❤
Plain white distilled vinegar is my go to for killing mold. Peroxide will kill mold but, less effective on porous things like fabric. I like to use vinegar because it works and its relatively inexpensive. And sunlight is your friend for helping to destroy the mold spores. So, I would soak it in vinegar and set in the sun to dry. Repeat if needed. I love that needlepoint. Definitely worth trying to get it clean. Good luck! You may want to soak those mugs in some vinegar water before running through the dishwasher. Love that rug too. Hi Bones! Thanks for the everyday videos, loving them. :)
Loving these every day videos, you guys put a smile on my face every time. Love how you both interact with each other. Be nice if all relationships were as sweet as you two. Ty from Australia 🇦🇺 :)
Hey guys, no power washer? Go to car wash…clean rug..rinse the rug…put in back of truck..take home..put in sun..it will look brand new. We do all our outdoor rugs ..we have 7 large outdoor rugs..we power washer with Dawn soap..rinse well..drag 3 to back yard to dry. 3 we leave on driveway to dry..they dry well in the sun. They look brand new when dry. We have used the same rugs for over 7 years and they still look brand new. Of course the rugs are all under our front and back patios. Just a suggestion. Good luck. Love your videos. You two are so great and giving. Hugs Betty
Those teacups are great to turn into candles, like take old candles and pour into the teacup with a new wick. Makes excellent gifts. The gnome toilet seat cover was adorbs. It couldve been washed. Somebody wouldve loved that, i.e. ME lol
When I went to garage sales, I’d find pretty cups like that, clean the cups and find some inexpensive plants to put in the cups and either use them for the kids in Sunday school for Mother’s Day or for friends who are sick or for birthdays. If they come with saucers, just glue the saucers to the cup.
Thank you for picking up trash left by others. I wish people cared more for our world and stopped throwing their trash where it shouldn’t be thrown. Also, thank you for your efforts to save things from our landfills and giving them to others who need them.✌️ “Thirty Second” cleaner is really good for removing mold and mildew from anything. Buy at Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. and dilute according to directions. Just spray on, wait thirty seconds and brush, rinse or let dry.
Take the rugs to the car wash and give them a quick soap and rinse. Then lay out in the sun to dry. Nice looking rug, I'd keep it it. And yayyyy for the clothing find.
The needlepoint piece can be cleaned. Take it off the frame. Soak it in very hot water with Oxyclean. Let it soak for until the water cools. You may need to soak it more than once. Then put oxyclean in with your detergent and wash the piece. I suggest you line dry or lay it flat to dry on a towel. I would not put it in the dryer. I love that you saved the needlepoint from the dump! Good luck. Be sure to show us how it turns out!
I think that rug may clean up well. A friend told me Starbucks throws out all their food upon closing. Have you ever checked them? Thanks for doing the daily videos!
When you discovered the nomb toilet seat cover and started laughing. Oh my gosh, I joined you laughing. So funny! Your Dumpster Diving adventure was so much fun! All those colorful clothes are always a great find. The Curb Alert was a bonus. Hope your able to clean the needle point art. Bones is truly such a sweet buddy. You said, "Hello, Bones!" And Bones said, "Hello! To you with his meow and yawning." You made me feel happy!🎉❤
Hi Kelly and Alex!!! Lovely cups and mugs you found. If you use a SOS pad on them before the dishwasher, they may clean up better. I have used this method myself many times. Not scrubbing, just a light scour on the inside and out. Good luck!!! Love to you both and Bones!!! 🥰🥰✝️🐈❤️
The little chocolate mushrooms are SOOOOOO yummy! They sell them at Daiso. It looks like there is a Daiso store in Denton... you should go check it out. I'm glad you took the rug - it can totally be cleaned. :-) Thanks - as ALWAYS - for sharing your fun dive-adventures with us.... you guys are SOOOO cute and funny - and we love Bones too! :-) Very inspiring!
Thanks for showing the clothes and just wanted to let you know that white vinegar kills mold, takes bad smells out, disinfects all in one and you can mix white vinegar with water and it can be used to clean windows and mirrors and you can soak plastic blinds, bowls and toys in it to take smells out and disinfect them as well as clean them you can add dish soap to it and clean with it too
Here in Omaha when we see any dumped furniture or trash, we call the city and they pick it up immediately. My husband and I always do it. Our neighborhood is clean.
The tea cups are porcelain, I hope you wash by hand or they may not survive dishwasher! They are made in Japan, some call Moss Rose pattern, at least 60 years old. Thanks for filming again Kelly and Alex!❤
Kelly and Alex, I love watching your videos. With the tea cups, I would wash them by hand. If they are stained, soak them in bleach and h20 with a little dish soap, and they will come out sparkling. 🫶🇨🇦
Taking rugs to the do-it- yourself carwash and soaping, scrubbing, and power spraying works well to clean rugs if you can then dry them in the hot summer sun.
I was worried about you ❤😂🎉.. you can set the rug outside.. get a sturdy broom and wash it. And let the sun dry out.. those flowers and roses mugs are from the 80s or 90s. Guys make some vinegar and baking soda paste . And make sure the fabric is wet and spread out the paste and leave it in a tub or sink with water. ..you can use the paste for the cups too. so cute I adore sparrow birds.
If you’re looking to do another craft and have some old candles laying around, you can melt them, put new wicks in, and make new candles in the teacups.
When my coffee cups get stained, I always use a tablespoon of lemon juice then add a tablespoon of white vinegar (it’s great for cleaning) then add a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda, (baking soda) all safe and consumable so no chemicals to harm us. If you have no white vinegar then all vinegar works, it’s basically home made non toxic cleaning acid. It also unblocks the sinks. And is great for all stains, I am not sure if it would be ok on that needle point, as it could rot it, it’s also great for carpet stain’s. Great vids for you both. ❤
Hi Kelly & Alex- Nice area rug! For that size rug, I would put it on your patio or deck, wet it with the garden hose, dump a bucket of soapy water (not super soapy) on it, and go over it with a stiff bristle broom, then rinse it. If you have something to drape it over so it dries faster-that would be great. I use the base of my glass patio table minus the glass, as a drying rack for rugs. I think you can leave the cross-stitch on the frame and wash it in the bathtub. Again, some soapy water and a soft brush. As it's drying, it may shrink a bit and fit the frame better (it looked stretched out). Otherwise, you could remove some of the staples to re-stretch where it needs it. Loved seeing all of your Christmas decorations in your living room!
You guys are soooo fun and you make us smile!!...even when youre not finding alot. It's so fun getting to hunt with yall... The anticipation is addictive! ❤
Oh wow!! The mug that's pink inside if it says Balloon Inc. Flower....on the bottom it's my missing mug! I've been looking everywhere to find that one mug...lol
I wish you guy's did more stores I think you do your best when the collage kids move out ,I think apartments are just nasty for most part it seems they throw away kitchen trash, but I do enjoy watching 😊.
Great finds today, even if it wasn't much there! I love the rug! Those tea cups were cute. My mom was a big collector of tea cups and saucers. She also loved drinking tea every day at tea time! Hi Bones!
Those vintage Tupperware plastic cups are worth some money, and you got a nice china tea cups. I think the smokey stackable cups are vintage 70's or early 80's and also have a $ value.
Take it to the carwash, go to the self wash station. Use the soapy brush and scrub, then use the pressure washer to spray all the soap out hang to dry. Bam it's like new!

“When the dumpster grabs back” is Alex’s best line yet.

I've really enjoyed the daily videos! The clothes look plus size. They can be hard to find in thrift stores!
Take the rugs to the car wash and give them a quick soap and rinse. Then lay out in the sun to dry. Nice looking rug, I'd keep it it. And yayyyy for the clothing find.
Great idea!!
I love those chairs! My mom thinks I'm weird because I love the color of brown.. but it's because I love chocolate so much 😂😂🍫😋
I also love the color brown...lol
@pennynicosia5644 It makes me feel warm and safe for some reason lol
The Brown is my favorite color too
@@tyffmccullough2306 is a earth color and fall color.. I like mix colors .. love chocolate too especially dark. Cacao .
Might I suggest taking that rug to the car wash and power washing it…leave it to dry in your garage 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Or leave it on your driveway when the sun is out.
I was about to say the same thing, take it to the car wash, hang up on the car mat clips and spray it ....
Great idea!! Thank you!
house looks gorgeous!
Love seeing you guys daily!❤️
If you dont have a power washer, take the rug to the car wash. 😊😊😊😊
Great idea I would have never thought about that one!
"You can see the beauty in everything if you try hard enough"
Thank you...
We all need to see more. 💓
People are learning! It is good that you are not finding anything that can be recycled!!
You are a great example to our country ❤

A little bit of Dawn dish soap and a power wash will do that rug some good. Rugs are very expensive that's why people like deals!
Some dawn power wash will clean it up
What I enjoy about the two of you is that you enjoy each other and laugh a lot, keep it up that way you will find joy in all you do!!
I think that rug may clean up well. A friend told me Starbucks throws out all their food upon closing. Have you ever checked them? Thanks for doing the daily videos!
Good evening, such a great day to spend my birthday! Great finds today! Blessings and Peace ✝️❤️
You are showing all the good stuff you find so they are starting to learn from you
The Tupperware cups look vintage. Good find
I would do a quick bleach soak for the cups, then the dishwasher! It's excellent for taking out tea stains/coffee.
Look great clothes look reusable love the crockery 😊

You can melt your own candles in those fancy cups you found. They'd be really pretty!
Here in Omaha when we see any dumped furniture or trash, we call the city and they pick it up immediately. My husband and I always do it. Our neighborhood is clean.

Pretty clothes saved from the landfill !WOO WOO ! ! Love the rug ! Easy to clean I’ve picked up from curb and they turned out great ! 👍🏽 ✌🏽🌻✌🏽🌻🎄🎅🏽🎄🎅🏽
A lot of people make the tea cups into candles!! Great gifts.
If nothing else you could put that rug on your garage floor. We have done that, especially if you do not put your car in garage.
You can take that rug to a self car wash and clamp it where you put mats and pressure wash it
If you’re looking to do another craft and have some old candles laying around, you can melt them, put new wicks in, and make new candles in the teacups.
Carwashes are good to clean rugs
