Hey man I followed every step, the mod loaded with missing body parts, replaced the mtls files as described on the video, on the final vake the game crashed when I viewed the modded character
I know you dont use meta anymore, but I’m literally on the last step of this tutorial but for some reason material editor doesn’t open. Cakeview does but when i select material editor it doesn’t do anything. I’m trying to port an earl hebner ref file from 2k22 and did all the blender things
Some questions.. the BaseModel.CTG - do I just delete it ? Attire.HPL - Can I just replace with a Blank Attire HPL and just rename it ? Also, MDL Plugin v1.2.8.0 has been released since this video. Should I use the version you used or this new release ? Will this new MDL Plugin v1.2.8.0 work for the same Blender version you recommended in your video, or should I use Blender 4.1 & 4.2 ? Sorry for the 20 questions. Thanks for the tutorial video.
Leave the .ctg, Yes you can use a blank attire hpl, you just might need to redo the mtls a bit. and yes the new mdl plugin works on the same version i use but it also works on 4.1 so up to you.

Ok when I do all the step it takes the mtls I overwrite with textures. How do I fix this. I ported Brian cage, used the mtls from Devon Dudley. The characters still came out with no face.
i tried to load the mdl files but whever i tried to select file and it says \484_DDP\BaseModel\baseModel.mdl [CSkinModel] Failed to read user model file. Could not load invalid model. and how to fix it?
@wrestlingcrusade I have a problem with the hair. It's stretching all the way from the entrance point. Perhaps, I'm missing something for hairs. Thanks in advance!
When I port the character over to 2k24, everything loads up good until the match starts , The character attire shows gaps like his tights will below knee get clipped or top gets clipped?
i don't know too much about the steam deck but i assume its possible. If it can run 2k well it can run blender so i would say that this should be possible but then again i have never even touched a steam deck.

Yeah, in that instance you can replace someone elses slot, so for example if you choose to replace him with Post Malone you would have to change the folder name to "949_Post_Malone" as well as changing all the inside folders and files to the 949 id or you can use something like tribute or meta to put that mod on an unused slot
import with the 24 mdl plugin export with the 23 mdl plugin. You can find the 23 mdl plugin on the PWM wiki, the only problem is that the ycl can't really be transfered so you're gonna have stiff hair, clothes, etc.
@@wrestlincrusade I tried meta. I press prime memory. It looks like the memory is primed then I go to import the character profile it says the memory is not primed.

@@UnalivedReaper yeah ycl is basically the file that controls the flowy stuff like hair, jackets, etc. if it doesn’t come with one then it doesn’t need one
Thats not necessarily a mistake thats just something that happens with outdated mtls, thats why you update them like the videos show. Some mtls work fine others don’t

The basemodel works perfectly but the model attire and the hair aren’t showing which step i need to fix ?
@@KarimMohsen-m7s similar to how i fixed the basemodel by grabbing a mtls from cakeview the same can be done for attire

Do it on your pc,then copy the cakehook and mod files onto your steamdeck wwe games files...i sucessfull do it

@@ulysessalvarez8294 2k19 had a different file types so you would need to port them to a 2k22 for example to then port it to 2k24
