Giriama dance

The Giriama are the dominant tribe in the Watamu area, and their culture is important to us at Happy House School.
For many staff members and students, Giriama is their first language followed by Swahili (the common language between tribes) followed by English in which they teach and are taught.
Here some of our students present a Giriama dance which they dance for the gathering at the end of term assembly.
