Well, there is a group of modders who remodeled it and you can drive majority of the Shuto expressway now in Assetto Corsa. Incredibly detailed. I recognized every corner on the video. Even the starting place, that is Tatsumi parking area.
Makes me think that the people who work for toll gates in this place must have quite the time watching these midnight races every now and then ever since.
what you just witnessed was lift oversteer. deceleration through a corner shifted enough weight forward to cause the rear tires to reach their limit of traction, thus kicking out the rear
rotary doesnt use pistons, it uses a triangle that spins, its hard to explain without showing you, but since the only moving part is the rotor (the triangle) they can spin to amazingly high rpm's resulting in gobs of highend power, the only downside is they run a bit hot and get horrible gas mileage.
the thing that i like about it is that even during the race, the still use signal when they meet with car that not involve in the race. good driving attitude.
The US government took away these cars for a reason. People who are buying GT-R's, etc are repeating the same mistake as the ones who are to blame for the recall years back.

The footage and the audio are not synced. You can hear him coasting while the footage shows him blasting down straights. And you can hear them mashing the throttle while driving slowly around tighter turns... What!?
its the ideal way o shift in a rotary idiots in a rotary the drive shaft is actualy spinning way faster then the engine if he where to shift nomally the clutch acually drops the revs 2-3k and in a turbo its to keep that spool in the key area to where no lag occurs at all
