Bro Im also in Canada. Moving into van due to exspenses of life being hard May 1st. Relocating to BC from 19 years in AB. I was 19 in BC also .. anyways did you make a video of the roof insulation. You said in your latest video you'd have added more if doing it all over. May I ask is there a video to what you did do. Or could you recommend an easy insulation material and also can you suggest the cheapest fan i'll be cutting a hole in the ceiling is there a fan youd suggest keeping my funds low but I dont need the very very cheapest. But next up from cheapest.Thank you in advance for any info. Jim..

I got the same wipers, the Dynopros, and the barn doors. I see you have the rear ac switch, but I don't see any vents at the back? How is the rust factor aswell.
Nice! These tires have been great, even where they arent supposed to be, snow, mud and the Astro needs good wipers, the cheap ones lift off the windshield I find.
O man the rust..ð It's "good'" overall, but bad where its bad, namely the front rad support.. I'm considering running off to Florida and never looking at rust or a diesel heater again ðuse my van for parts lol
Good eye, the switch on the dash is for the optional rear heater system, which I removed to install the diesel heater, I should have mentioned that in the video, you can see the holes in the floor from the coolant lines that I patched with a chunk of the roof from the roof vent hole ð
Next time I'm at the junkyard i need to grab a blank to throw in that spot, thanks for the reminder.

ha! nice I just did a video on the dome lights in my astro. my interior is gutted and I put LEDs on the stock wiring that runs off the door switch so they come on when I open the door. check out my build if you have some time let me know what you think. our bed and counter layout is similar
O Yeah I definitely remember the high-top ski van! looking good! I don't think there is a single Astro van build I'm not following on youtube at this pointð
I'm just keeping the stock dome but putting the center section on a switch. That way I can flick it on when going from the back to the cab, and vice versa, and just for more light up there in general. My van didn't have the big fancy roof console so no map lights at the very front where they should be ð
