Back then, substituted my old digital camera with this in everyday life. Eternal battery....Really liked this one. The attention to detail on these old nokias was incredible.
About 6 year ago. Nokia n79 is my dream. And 2011 i'm bought a nokia n78. My Feelling happy, very happy. It's very beatiful, camera very safp... and now. And now, everything before about nokia is just beautiful memories.
Nokia N79 is real technological wonder of its time! I have half dozen 2012 - 2020 smartphones, in my drawer... Now using N79 over a year. Happy and would use it probably forever. Afraid of upcoming TLS 1.2 requirement for MS 365 e-mail, though.
This was my phone after n70! I loved this so much because I could change my back covers to different colors! 😭 Wish I could do the same with my iphone. Lol
i think is the best looking nokia phone IMO. I was confused between 5800 express or N79.. i Chose 5800. i still have the phone but i regret that i did not buy n79 even today.

Back when you could buy a flagship phone for around 400€ I had the N82, accidentally threw it in the washing machine and it got washed at 90*c, the battery swell up a bit and the speaker blew but was still able to make calls.
Really nice idea the nostalgic unboxings! Could you do also the unboxing for the Nokia X7 and the Nokia N9 please? Are you willing to unbox also other manufacturers of just Nokia?
I still have this phone, but its completely dead though. I used to take a lot of pictures with this phone, and one thing i am sure is that the pictures taken from its Camera can even challenge photos taken from todays Android Mid range phones easily.
I bought Nokia N79 in 2008 and i still use it in 2022. This phone is incredible!

You forgot to show that the up, down, left, right button was touch sensitive. When you scrolled in the round motion it scrolled. Similar to the ipod
