Great channel you have built. I have just one suggestion that may be very important to people not so familiar with Socionics. I think it would be better to use the "correct" Socionics naming convention where "MBTI's ISFJ" is converted to "ISFp in Socionics". This "lowercase distinction" is really important as this makes things a bit less confusing for people studying the 8 cognitive functions through MBTI and Socionics. Thank you and keep up the good work.
@@WorldSocionics I could not agree more, but unfortunately they are the prefered way of refering to the 8 cognitive functions (especially among those that aren't even aware such a thing exists). The reason I made this suggestion is because it used to confuse me a lot when getting to know Socionics that my INP-kids were actually ... INj-kids in that system. If it hadn't been for the lowercase-distinction, I may have still have been lost in confusion. That's why I suggested to stick to the lowercase-convention, as meaningless as (especially) that last axis may be ... Kind regards, Johan.
ISFp in socionics is the same as Isfp in mbti. introverted sensors stay the same but introverted intuitives change.ISFp=Isfp, ISFj=isfj but INFp=INFj etc
It's easy to agree that the SEI/ ISFP type is much about balance, peace and not rushing, but that's really from their ignoring Se. The Si function itself is about an inner sensory experience, that sees the world through and aesthetic-magical lens, and monitors the phenomena of the nervous system. You can't really observe that directly, though (although you can see hints). Socionics has to some degree over-simplified Jung's descriptions. Socionics understanding of the type as a whole is mostly correct though. (my humble opinion as a SEI who has read lots of Jung and Socionics)
How do you know any of this if none of it can be seen or measured? The nature of Si is to integrate the sensory experience. In doing so, it rejects and negates the intensification and competition of sensory objects. "Magical inner aesthetic" is just that, magical and essentially without meaning.
@@WorldSocionics You say "rejects and negates the intensification and competition of sensory objects". This is not Si but rather the other side of the coin: Se ignoring. Whenever you have developed Si you also have a restricted attitude towards direct sensory impact. They go hand in hand in the type but they are not the same thing. Si is irrational and simply senses what's happening. There is no restriction, it indulges in the inner sensory experience. As I said, this is usually not seen from the outside: Introverted functions are really introverted. It's hard to describe Si and I said that it's like seeing the world through an aesthetic-magical lens. It is just an attempt to describe the experience. I don't think it's fair to say that it is "without meaning". I think most people can somehow imagine what that could mean. How can we know about Si? Here are some suggestions: 1) I am SEI so of course I know something about Si through self-examination, but the problem is to develop enough judgement so that one can really grasp it, and describe it. 2) You can observe SEIs and over time conclude that they seem to sense something that is not objective. Like, they just sit and stare at a wall and seem fascinated by it. 3) Rare cases of SEI artists who might have learned to express their inner experience. 4) Everybody has all 8 functions so through your own development you might know something about Si. 5) Jung has the best descriptions of the functions, and by studying them and observing the system of functions we can see how single functions fit into the conceptual system. But yes, the functions are harder to grasp than it appears in Socionics. I recommend studying Chapter 10 in Psychological types.
@tjovadevalivat My wife is an SEI. I think I have observed enough to know what Si is and it's certainly not a magical inner world. Se ignoring is the avoidance of conflict in the pursuit of harmony, but also the capacity to become assertive on rare occasions where necessary to restore balance.

Poderia me dar uma luz?

Do you try to link enneagram types to a certain socionics type? What are your thoughts on this. I'm curious.
Hard because Socionics has multiple motivational layers linking each type to potentially a number of Enneagram possibilities.
What do you think about subtypes? Do you like the idea?
I think they are splitting hairs
I wonder if you can get a none violent variety of the ISFP?
It seems to me ur planning on doing each type from the same Quadra. R u also planning on explaining correctly the Quadra values after that?
I think that's sort of implied in my function-pair videos that are already up.
An in-depth look at the quadras can be found in my course however.
