Day 9 (Aug 23) Kathmandu to Rasuwagadi. An epic drive of 125km which took more than 12 hours.

Today that is 23 Aug the team left kathmandu at 7.30 am for Rasuwagadi whichnis the border post on nepal side. The distance is just 125km but expected drive time was 6 hours. For first 100 km road was good leaving small patches and we made good headway. Then came a patch which was very slushy and my hilux passed through without triuble. Then my friend wanted to wait for others to come. I had to wait for 2.5 hours. Still the others were behind. Only Vikas Dayal came. Then both of us started tondrive and after 15 min drive there was a massive jam. Again 2 hrs wasted and two more cars joined. And as if this was not enough 2km before Rasuwagadi there was a truck which has broken down in the middle of the road.
