I think it's safe to assume that HoYoverse is doing everything they can to ensure that each region 100% surpasses the previous one in design, ost, story, etc. It's been like that so far. Every time you find yourself thinking "this is the best one yet!", then the next one comes and tops it.
But this is what they gotta do tbh. It's the only way to keep the game alive. And they are doing pretty well imo 👍

@@pedro_antuness22well, in design Inazuma was was top tier. They failed with story a bit, but it was mostly because they rushed it and not so much because it was bad.

People like clowning on inazuma just because the story is "bad" Honestly I think inazuma story isnt even bad its just rushed and the exploration/region is a next step from liyue that i think inazuma feels more full because the island type area, Its just kinda sad that inazuma is rushed and feels experimental compared to another region, like hoyo when they want to create inazuma still experimenting on stuff and they not as big as a company/money for genshin when they started inazuma

Appearance aside, what I'm really hyped about Fontaine is the OSTs and even though we only heard a segment of a BGM, it's very pleasant!

@@sultandoremon9700 Sumeru IS cool.. in terms of landscaping and environmental aesthetics, Sumeru currently has the most diverse, from underground ruins galore to deserts and rainforests

This is just the rich side, there is also a run down polluted part of Fontaine we haven't seen yet

Just from the genshin trailer before the game came out, just from Lynn and Lynette, Fontaine is my favourite
as someone who adores the hydro element and futuristic themes, fontaine is beautiful !! and that little piece of fontaine ost... it's just wonderful 💕
edit: i'm looking forward to seeing the "polluted" fontaine side too. it's bound to be interesting

I just wanted to mention, after watching the Japanese version of the teaser, I can confirm that it ends shortly after the cutoff point, having a curtain close, while the official English version is also available now on the Genshin Impact channel along with the recorded live stream, and likewise it just fades out with her saying 'decide their fate'.
How come the trailer is cut off?
@@sheepsong5681 Twitch being twitchy, it's pretty common for prerecorded live streams to end prematurely there, same happened during teaser for Sumeru.
The Oboe, Accordion Combo is gonna dominate this OST and its gonna be SOOOOOOOO GOOD

@@NahidaTheRadishNatlan is not at all under Liyue. You're severely underestimating region expansions. Liyue will be expanded south, as well as northwest, which means Celestia is above Liyue. Natlan will be to the very west of Sumeru's desert.

Fontaine is absolutely gorgeous and did not dissapont me in the slightest. The elegant Art Deco style in every small element (i was so curious about which style they will choose. Rococo or Baroque? Gorgeous, but unfitting for a steampunk aesthetic. But it's supposed to be a very refined city, so... oh, they choose Art Deco! Amazing! I actually wasn't even that interested in Art Deco before, preffering Art Nouveau and older styles, but now i may start learning more about it🤤), the ocean colors and the grandeur of the city is absolutely magnificent! This is literally the biggest city i saw yet in Genshin! Not to mention how big is the inside of every building we can enter! The rococo-resembling fashion is absolutely gorgeous and all the dishes looks interesting and delicious (and for people who wanted baguettes we now have garlic baguette! And i love all of the desserts!)! Coming back to Art Deco, i just love to look at every element of the city and just admire the style (i'm a bigh lover of furniture and interior design, especially older historical styles)! The chairs are more resembling if Rococo with rounder, softer form, though the legs are more fitting to the Fontaine's Art Deco aesthetics, not being curvy like Rococo legs, and have you noticed how the pattern resembles a fish scales? Because i did and i love it! The coaches is pure Art Deco form and i adore them, they're so elegant! There's also another chair model that looks more Art Deco and i love it too! And the coaches in the Opera House resembles a seashells! And the fact that even CURTAINS has Art Deco form wins my heart completely! I love how they fitted the style in vasically everything, even books and teacups. The sea colors and golden lines is also gorgeous. The whole city looks extremely refined, just like we were promised, and also extremely advanced compared to the previous regions!

@@MotivatedBean98 I went to see again with more attention and it does resemble belobog from star rail a bit. Therefore a bit steampunk. Even tho the outside does not have the same as i pictured before, it does feel like the most advanced city so far.

Inazuma lets you be a light conductor. Sumeru allows you to be Spider-Man. And now Fontaine just straight up allow you to be a sea monkey.

Looks like this is the first region where I won't be skipping every dialogue. I'm just amazed at how clean the city is. I would have imagined it dirtier and darker, a bit cyberpunk-ish.
So far the Fontaine designs look really cool, I do hope though the rest of Fontaine also has more color to it kinda like Belabog, I've already seen way too much white in Sumeru designs besides Fontaine's the nation of beauty and culture so why wouldn't the Fontaine-residents there look overall very stylish and showy as well?
Oh finally, i was thinking the same thing, there so much white colour here, but the people continue to say that this is the better city in terms of disign, like???? I hope this is just a part of the city because if not, it will be just a second Sumero without the big trees.

My guess is that the diving mechanic will be similar to fishing spots in the game where there will be diving spots that you can go and you can't just dive to any puddle of water in the game.
my personal opinion is that I think it's fine as long as they put the diving spots in the popular spots like Monstadt's Cider lakefor example. But of course most of the diving spots will probably be in Fontaine(it's called the nation of water for a reason)
